You didn't upset me at all. For the record ... I don't think you upset anyone here. I know of other members here that implied or called other people names ... the normal game that can sometimes go on here and/or don't forget that this form of communication anyone can take what was said/implied in the wrong way. For me, I was simply having fun with your post. Thanks for sharing more about yourself. Welcome to Huskerboard. I think you will find that you can get alot out of it with minimal effort. Do remember ... there is alot of hot smoke around here as well ... many fans who have no inside information at all and think they have scouting ability that rival most college staffs and a few of those in the NFL ... but if your willing to sift thru all that you still can have alot of fun. Ya, I know this guy is a first time poster ... but this is legit. His twitter account says that we have decided to pull the offer for OT Andrus Peat in favor of this guy. With so few scholarships to offer this year the Huskers decided to pull Andrus offer and get this extremely talented TE in for an official visit. Hope we land him.

Dude, about pissed my pants from laughing on your video. That was funny! So true Saunders. People right off others so quickly. I remember being a Senior at 5' 7". When I got to my first year in college I was 6' tall. I grew up in so many ways ... but that could never happen to a four star athlete under our coaching with the Husker tradition in place. Just right TMart off ... guy is a loser for sure (wink).

Nice to see some jabs at Rex for his play as a sophomore. I'll throw my jabs at a WR who now plays for the Redskins. That guy had enough bad plays for a career last year and if he were here this year shouldn't make a top ten list unless it was for mistakes. Rex did just fine and will play better then most Juniors, just as he played better then most sophomores.

I'm not real worried about how we start Dude. There will be bumps. It how we finish down the stretch when he has the experience that I'll be looking at. I'll be extrnding grace as well regardless.

You guys KILL me. All due respect, and frankly, you're probably in the right and I'm in the wrong, but TO HELL WITH OKLAHOMA. Our only real rival over the last 16 years was Missouri, and if there is one team I'd wanna keep playing, it's them. I seriously do not care about Oklahoma. I've said it before so I'm just repeating myself here, but it is very clear that Oklahoma valued Texas WAY more than us. They turned their backs on us. Why do we keep throwing rose petals at their feet considering the way they abandoned us for their seat next to the Longhorn throne? Oklahoma love makes me sick. @#$% Oklahoma. I hope they lose every game next year. Even the one to Texas. (Alright, maybe that one went a little far.) I don't disagree with your emotions Nebula ... heartally agree actually ... however, being a former Big 8 rival ... I'd love the annual rivalry with OU ... time will always shake things out. If our Huskers are on the right side of the issue time will show it. To me, OU's and the rest of the original Big 8 and their decisions past would make for keeping the OU/NU rivalry. It adds much to the rivalry. It's not about throwing any rose petals at their feet to me ... it's about the opportunity to show them the error of their ways. :-)

Well, sure I agree. But I didn't make the post based off what I thought OU would do. Heck, I'm sure our Huskers wouldn't want to do it. My perspective was that that rivalry should never end ... and it holds today ... regardless of how many titles it cost us.

Personally, I'd go for an annual OU/NU game at Arrowhead starting this season!

Texas has three of the largest cities ... Dallas, Houston and San Antonio ... They are like 4, 7, 9 in the country. I'm sure all these people live because it SUX! :-)

My view is that those that have agenda's make these sort of things an issue. It's like we never had an recruits when we were in the Big 8. How did we ever become a power with the tradition we have? These Texas writers, coaches and fans just try to use the move to their advantage. Facts are that their are more then enough variables that effect recruiting. We will recruit any player in TX that helps us build our program and we will win some of those battles, more of them as we win ... same issue as most schools.

Alright, I can accept that. Here's to his process and may he pick the right school. Ya, of the school's listed, if that is his highest criteria then I'd say we will be in his Top 3. His recruiting process will show him and us what he really wants out of his college experience and pro future.

I'm surprised the Huskers are this high. Going into the first B1G season, it sounded as if our schedule was brutal ... most seemed to agree. My perception is that the B1G must be perceived as being much weaker now with the OSU situation as I don't think we got that much better. For me, I would want much higher odds to place a bet that the Huskers would win all our games, win the B1G Championship and then with the National Championship. Just going undefeated in the B1G I'd want 25/1, then you have to get the B1G Championship, then the National? All that for 18/1? Just too many question marks for me. Give me 40/1.

Rather interesting that there is no Florida, Florida State, Miami, LSU or Alabama interested in this guys seeing he is right there in that area.

I'm assuming Niles Paul is on the list as a "major contributor" for all the dropped balls, fumbles or key mistakes at crucial times? Or maybe it was for being one of the best blocking WR's? Just some "hatin'" for Niles ... so glad he's gone ... and he was a "major contributor/disappointment".

Disappointing, but nowhere near shocking. Honestly I could not blame a kid to hop in on that wagon. I'd even eat to be a part of that recruiting class. I don't disagree with your statement at all PaulCrewe ... the thought I've had with 3-4 TE's that have passed on us is ... what about getting on the Husker bandwagon? From my perspective ... tinted with Red of course, is we have our ship heading in the right direction ... everyone knows our defense will be Top 10 in the country year in and out under Bo. We've got an exciting QB, great RB's in the pipe ... an OL pipe going ... from my perspective ... we are ripe for a stud TE and a few stud WR's and we would have a dynamic offense that will be Top 10. Guess I just don't get why we get a "pass" on a good TE or WR recruit. They could come and become legendary at the position if they like. I believe we throw more when we have the talent their ... but maybe I'm missing something.

Howdathunk that Bowden stepping down would open up FSU to this kind of recruiting for them. Amazing!

Ya, ya learn alot about a persons world view, ethics, morality. To me, it would be a better world if we considered others as more important then ourselves. Secondly, what a shame for the fans, players and university who will suffer for the $20 memorabilia you might make $2k on ... while a university recovers from sanctions.

I hope we made his top five. :-)
