Petrino [at my old school], Missouri State, about to beat #10 Arkansas. Wow, MSU better than Nebraska. Amazing.
-
MSU was up 10 and then caved. It looks like the OL and DL could not withstand 4 quarters of SEC football. But, I do think Petrino and MSU would beat Nebraska most of Frost's years. Amazing.
Ya, the Nebraska elites could never take on a Petrino or Meyer. In time, we should be humbled to see that it's a step down to come to Nebraska and that we all stumble in various ways, even the Nebraska coaches we worshipped.
Lots of pride within the elite.

Anyone point me to the profile on Jamarious Brown? He is a 4* DE from Mississippi that we are supposedly in on.
-
@TonyStalloni, thanks man. Looks like we caught the same article.

Austin Allen to the pros. Dang it! Wanted him back.

Huskerboard just notified me that I'm now a "Starter". Hmmm, that only took 20 years. Ha ha.
-
@teachercd, ha ha. You got me to LOL on that.

We’ve got the talent to make some major moves into the B1G race but we lack the coaching/leadership that can get us there. Right now Frost and his staff is our handicap. Plus his lack of honor throwing players under the bus publicly is disgusting.
-
@TonyStalloni, agreed. Your comment made me think of that moment in Miracle on Ice when the coach gets a whistle and get the men onto the ice do sprints. I'd absolutely love to see Frost kill these guys for their stupid mistakes ... I mean absolutely kill them in a way that they can't even recover for the next game. I'd just be curious to see how they would respond. The hockey players were really surprised to see that their could be such cost for not working hard during the hockey game.

it's not over till it's over. down 24 to 7 with 1:09 left and they come back to win (no overtime)
-
Don't know if any of you guys are following the Little League World Series, but Nebraska just punched their ticket to Williamsport. Home town Hastings, NE team with a web gem to end it.

That's interesting @ColoradoHusk, well, I'm sure the Atlantic could have their facts wrong. They say that GM is the first college athlete to release a trademarked logo. I wasn't aware that we had any player or our department had dived into all that trademark work for our athletes.

COME AND SEE ...
This free series on YouTube has been exceptional. Check it out.

@NUance, I made a thread in the Political forum. You can see various shorter clips to decide if it's an investment worth making for you.

@teachercd, classic and funny stuff there!

I don't think we will ever be able to compete for a national championship again. Too much going against us. Talent disparity, other teams upgrading their facilities, every game now on television...I wonder what real advantages we have anymore.

Good stuff @TonyStalloni

What was/is your lame new years resolution?

Pretty sure I have the 'rona.
Daughter tested + yesterday.
here we go!

Keep expecting to come on here and see that Frost has been relieved of duties
-
At this stage, I would not renew or extend anything with Scott. Yet, Scott will get an extension in a year that won't make sense but will justify Moos' choice of him. Probably 2024. It's just the way it works. Then the alumni will need to pay off millions for 3-5 more years after he is gone. I'm like B.B., I want it to work ... But this looks to be the trend.

Absolutely no reason to not win out for us. Today, I expect at least a 14 point win and very limited mistakes. Bring it Big Red!
-
I don't know what game you are watching. We have them right where we want them. :-) We look to put out that stellar "black-shirt" defense again allowing 500 yards and 30 first downs. The board was quite pleased with that effort last week. Remain calm ... all is well!
The Nebraska that lives in my heart is truly gone.

@macroboy, it's always self-inflicted.
Still, we win today by two touchdowns if this season is to go anywhere.

"Our guys are as ready to play as I know how to make them". -Scott Frost
Yikes.

Waiting for Desmond Howard to tweet that B1G should kick Justin Fields out of the B1G. :-)
-
Some fun reads here. I wasn't "whining" at all. As more is revealed [just like Covid], the more we find out the truth. There are many others who want to play and thing the B1G leadership is "off". That isn't "whining" ... that is the fact. You can try to silence people, shun them, cut out the truth, say you want to kick them out of the league [delete their YouTube videos] ... but the truth will eventually be known.
It's not a new play, scheme or plan. It's been tried. It will fail.

Does anybody have a good recommendation for a Huskercentric message board? I’m aware of Huskerboard and Huskermax, just wondering if there are any user friendly boards out there.

@Toe ... and again. Is Zuckerberg an admin now? :-)

Anyone here think they've actually seen a ghost?

Where is the thread that lists who are targets are at in each position? Wanted to see who our other CB targets are and where they rank verse Webb.

Worst place you had to do #2?
I have two:
1. Office West Lounge: No door and it was EXPLOSIVE! I knew there was no stall door but I had to do it, so I RUSHED that one!
2. Michigan game two years ago. We are tailgating and I have to go. I hit up a port-o-potty and it is is pitch black in there. I go BAD and wiping...it was like cream cheese.

Finally happening.
