  1. Hell, I'm more than excited about the possibilities for this season now. Even when it comes to this thought of "identity", if the mindset shifts to moving the guy in front of you then we might just find our way with MJ. I don't think there are any excuses. We can win this game with OU. MJ is our guy. We may lose ... but it won't be without MJ giving his best. Go Big Red.
  2. Guy got treated like royalty and every benefit up to and including three weeks from now. TA was honorable on all fronts. Talk about privileged. No coach who was a son of their own got treated as well as Scott. The folks at Joyo are delusional.
  3. My hope will be that Chins is gone by Tuesday's press conference. That subtraction will be an addition itself.
  4. So shines a good word. This is our only hope ... true belief in this view.
  5. Scott got paid very well for all his coachspeak. He also got the full support and the benefit to any doubt for far longer than any coach would or has ever gotten. Getting fired and put out of his misery was compassion ... and he gets paid even more money. It's not an asinine comment at all. Scott actually won today and got rewarded. I wish him well and he will be just fine. His coachspeak will live on in infamy.
  6. I'll never feel horrible for Frost.
  7. Dear God, make Chins a bird, so he can fly away ... far, far away.
  8. I respect the hell out of this. It was due a couple of years ago.
  9. Actually, there is still a good proportion who will be hopeful and believe the coachspeak.
  10. That's a really good football team there. Really proud or our kids. They just came up a but short today.
  11. You just gotta get creative if you want to win in this league.
  12. Not at all. That's a really good football team there. We just need to get a few things cleaned up. The kids are playing hard.
  13. That doesn't bode well for us at all. They have sucked the last 8 years. :-)
  14. Enjoyed your thoughts @M.A.. I assume that took some time to share, wanted to express gratitude for the interaction.
  15. I was 5-7 as well. Actually, still am. The part that cracks me up is how the 5-7 crowd gets a pretty negative view months ago [by that 8-4, 7-5], and now these same folks state we can only win maybe 2-3 games. I will say this, if any "prediction" was made by an ESPN guy, you wouldn't see that guy who said Nebraska would go 8-4 to revise it during the next week and state that now they will go 2-10. In this, "the greatest fans on earth" become comical. :-)
  16. Enjoyed this article ... "And in Frost’s entire coaching career, six times he’s attempted an onside. Not once have his teams succeeded in getting the ball. In all six failed attempts, the other team got at least a field goal attempt. In five of them, the opponent would score. Four of those games his team was trailing, and his team would go on to lose the game. The other two surprise attempts? They would also lose the game. To recap: Exactly 0% of those OSK attempts worked; 100% of them allowed a scoring opportunity; 83% of them actually allowed a score; and 100% of the time his team lost." https://www.rollbamaroll.com/2022/9/2/23334187/fire-everybody-scott-frosts-decision-to-kick-the-onside-was-even-worse-than-it-seemed-at-the-time
  17. Thanks for your additional share. I can see getting a footprint there. I think I would stay higher up in Florida. I like Florida St. in that sense. I'd also take Clemson.
  18. I don't really count FSC teams/games as "wins" nor worthy of my time [would love to see that as a rule implementedby the NCAA]. I'll be watching Oregon/Georgia unless I see might be getting upset. A "win" here for should be expected so handily, an upset would be worth my time as that might mean the end of Frost now. I won't be hoping for that. I just can’t stomach watching such "fluff". I know these days is "necessary" ... but that is our problem. I'd prefer to see a Kansas, a Washington State or a Wyoming ... but I realize we may not win those games ... probably best to stick to FCS teams. :-) The next real game I'll be watching is Huskers/Sooner and we will arrive at that contest 0-1 with a chance to even up the season. Scott has compiled his best team and has finally got all his pieces in place, so we can see now how his best compilation goes against the easiest B1G schedule he's ever had. Currently: 0-1 :-(
  19. Wouldn't North Carolina and Virginia be in play [and better options than Miami and Georgia Tech] to get the AAU stuff if possible?
  20. Since you are a new member, my guess is you are not honorable. As bad as it is, we don't need you here.
