  1. His recruiting profile when he signed states 240
  2. You didn't mention mind set. We have witnessed under three head coaches now a generation of players that as soon as something starts to go wrong they give up
  3. Because they're both white? Westy doesn't thave the speed, quickness or the moves that Edelman has, that's a pretty terrible comparison. Amendola might be a decent comp, though. Guess that's your opinion as it had nothing to do with race. Westerkamp Height: 6'0" Weight: 200 40 time: 4.5 seconds according to the link above. Vertical: 40" Edelman Height: 5'10" Weight: 200 40 times: 4.52 at the combine Vertical: 36 1/2" At first glance, you're wrong based on what you're saying. Clearly Westy has the same speed, the same size, the same UPS if not better, he has fantastic hands. Unfortunately we won't get to compare NFL combine numbers so it'll be interesting to see how things go with those numbers on down the line. Now if you want to say that Westy can't seem to get his hips engaged at times and seems stiff in that area then I might only agree with that assessment. And remember, we're comparing a soon to be rookie to a seasoned NFL veteran so of course he's not going to have some of the same development yet that Julian has. Watch it and try to remember: I think Westy has the edge at the same point in their careers since he is already a WR and Edelman converted over from QB
  4. Here are a few articles I found on him: http://usatodayhss.com/2016/thankful-kade-warner-kurt-warners-son-sets-arizona-state-record-for-receptions http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/high-school/2016/10/02/desert-mountains-kade-warner-breaks-11-man-state-record-career-catches/91442970/ http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/heat-index/2016/11/26/boivin-kurt-warners-son-considering-college-options-kade-warner/94482762/ Plus an article on his Dad helping coach the team and mentioned the team moved up in class this season: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/10/04/mmqb-kurt-warner-coaching-sons-football-team-mountain-high-school-kade-warner Maybe this will open the pipeline for his son Elijah to follow some day.
  5. Diaco brought in someone familar with his coaching methods and could help with the transition to the 3-4. Hard to believe Christie Brinkley is also 63.
  6. Nice article SI did on him a few years ago: http://www.si.com/college-football/2013/01/06/bob-elliott-notre-dame
  7. Isn't Nebraska still short one assistant coach on the staff? Any word who it will be?
  8. Triple Woot! NT of the future blackshirts!!!
  9. Great! Hometown kid helping rebuild the pipeline!
  10. Awesome! Good to see "local" talent stay home!
  11. Awesome! Look forward to him complimenting our future WR corps.
  12. Wilbon and Westy are both from Illinois that's two right there. Wasn't Joe Ganz from Chicago? Yepper, the burb of Palos Heights
  13. Maybe this although its more throwing Beck against the bus than under it: http://www.dispatch.com/sports/20170122/ohio-state-football--jt-barrett-likes-what-hes-seen-of-coaching-changes
  14. Fingers crossed his meet with Diaco goes well. Should be easy sell on good odds of being four year starter.
  15. If you did catch him, Carriker was on Unsportsmanlike Conduct earlier giving his insights on the 3-4: https://soundcloud.com/unsportsmanlike-conduct-1/jan-20-seg-12-adam-carriker-former-blackshirt
  16. Good vibes about Diaco. He will be busy. First teaching the coaches the nuances of the 3-4 and then implementing it. Maybe he can even pull a rabbit out of his hat by signing day too!
