college football, in general, is better when teams like Florida and Nebraska are powerhouses like they should be.. I'll be happy for you if Frost comes home.

anytime. I just don't see him staying @ ucf when he has a chance to go to not only a P5 school but to go home, name his price. I do know this though... he was definitely inquired about by Florida so if we're about to hire Kelly, I would like to think he didn't jilt us for UCF.. Just my take..

Hello to all of my husker friends. it seems it's been a really weird week for both of our fan bases. this is what I do know as of now. there is a deal in place between Florida and Chip Kelly. the deal is for 6 years, and includes large budget for future assistant coaches. more than likely mark Helfrich will be his OC... sounds like Coach Frost is coming home.. if true, I would like to be the first to congratulate you on your new coach... as I get more updates, I will be sure to post them...

I gotcha... one thing is for sure, we both need grand slam hires!!

I've seen it in games that he's coached... other than jemarcus Russell, he's never had anything close to a developed quarterback... and most that Russell did was pure talent because he was very lazy.

here's the thing about Les. he was never able to develop a quarterback and was a good OC and QB coach away from staying dominant there... people forget that he played his ball under Bo Schembecler.. heavy running game, not much passing game, and a dominant defense.... the game has evolved and he CHOSE not to evolve with it... thus his current situation..

no doubt... the week after the championship games at the earliest I suspect.... as long as he doesn't go to fsu, I'm good with anywhere else he goes.. fsu is where all the kids that were abused as children go... or if they're convicted felons...

he didn't even acknowledge them and left them behind... all of this came out after the second season he was our coach.. makes you wonder if the assistants made him look good and there was some jealousy because he has a monster ego..

agree completely... pretty much the same boat we're in. a game-changing coach doesn't come a long very often so I see Frost getting north of the 6 million dollar range fairly easily for his services.

while the recruiting aspect is very important, it just doesn't sound like he would issue a deadline.. and as much as Frost is in demand, there's no way in God's creation his offer from Nebraska is only 4 million.. I'm pretty sure that UF is ready to start @ the mid to high 5 million mark for him.. stricklin isn't into playing around.

thank you for the vote of confidence. honestly, I wish I could be one of those that could say that Frost is going here or there, however, I really don't have a clue... but you may well be right and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.. excellent post sir.
