  1. He has a poor attitude? I wouldn't expect that from the way he conducts himself off the field. Surprised.
  2. They are still in the process of exploring all options including the repurposing all the vacated space that will be created when the move to the new complex is completed. I believe they are scheduled to present their proposal to the BOR the first week or two of Oct.
  3. Hearing Jaylen Lloyd has been running with the ones and showing elite speed. Somebody to keep an eye on.
  4. Herbie's Hangout - 2023 Preview: Quarterback
  5. Rhule said he was not adhering to the “little things” required to be on the team. From the Wager incident I don't believe Rhule considers DUI a “little thing”.
  6. That's good to hear. Saw on another thread here Washington has his hand in a cast.
  7. Yeah. A book like The Twin Thieves: How Great Leaders Build Great Teams certainly couldn't have any impact on a team as accomplished as NU. You need to email HCMRh and let him know what a terrible idea this is.
  8. Very sad commentary on the depths to which this program has descended under the last regime.
  9. Rhule said 12 days - 2 weeks. According to the article I read they report July 30, start the first practice on July 31 and classes start Aug. 21.
  10. The plot thickens. What a mess. So glad we are going fall ball in 3 weeks without something like this hanging over our heads.
  11. Sounds like we're back to trying to run McGuire off again regardless of how he has performed so far or Rhule's ability to evaluate talent in the coaches he hires.
  12. I hope he's not actively recruiting during the current dead period. But Barney is from Miami so maybe it's referring to that.
  13. Yep. Considering all the angst, hand wringing, doubts and dislike voiced by many when he was hired I'd say he is working out quite nicely. The feedback from players and recruits alike has been over the moon positive. Imagine that, Matt Rhule had a better handle on his hire that anonymous message board posters. Shocking.
  14. I'd rather have a #25 ranked class if it consists of kids that really want to be here and succeed along with a staff that will develop them as opposed to a #15 ranked class that consists of kids with a lot of baggage that don't really want to be here along with a staff that fails at development.
  15. An interview with one of the greatest Huskers of all time. Well worth the 4 minute listen.
  16. I don't care if he wears a toga as long as he can get the program turned around.
  17. Although they seemed perfectly normal at the time it is hard to get over how enormous the shoulder pads were back in the day compared to the modern version.
