Anyone else heard POB has asked for his release and will not participate in Spring Game?

I was hearing the same thing just shortly after Frost was hired. Was told don't be surprised when/if Lindsey leaves... this new staff isn't all about him like the previous staff for whatever reasons.

I know I'm a couple pages behind but when I look at a schedule, I want to believe every home game is a W. Memorial Stadium is a special place and Minnesota next year should not be chalked up as a W in Lincoln. 7-5 is no where out of expectations. side note... I'm also not setting any expectations.

I'm only looking at this thread so I don't get fined...

I feel this is one of the only coaches in America that our fan base will be patient enough with. Am I still worried about some of the off beat Nebraska fans that will turn on him year one when we don't win every game? Yes.. but we need to be reasonable as a fan base and not get caught up in the wins and losses. 6-6 would NOT be a failed season. With the schedule and change of EVERYTHING. 6 wins is pretty damn good. I know I won't be looking at the win and loss column until year 2-3. I just want to see the players come out with some fire and passion and play hard.
