  1. yea. 42-21 should probably be worst case scenario. 45 points is the most they've had all year.
  2. we haven't covered a line all year, so i think we are due. and i don't think wisconsin has as much talent as michigan. i actually think we will cover. something like 42-21 seems doable.
  3. it's tough to coach a bunch of turds. no matter how good of a coach you are.
  4. it's not duval's job to recruit talent. if you teach a turd can bench press 500 pounds, they're still a turd.
  5. not only am i not going to madison, i probably wont even watch the game
  6. only thing i wish would have been different is if we had just hired frost instead of riley. riley was the worst hire by far. callahan and bo were actually good hires at the time. just didn't work out, but definitely weren't bad hires. but riley just flat out didn't deserve this job.
  7. it's not meaningless when you factor in we had a walk on qb playing in his first game against troy.
  8. well frost is suppose to be a better coach and we are playing them at home this year. if martinez is healthy, there's no reason to lose that game.
  9. well martinez didn't play in the troy game, and michigan is just a way better team than us. even if everything was going well, beating michigan in the big house would have been unlikely.
  10. i would argue colorado is better than purdue, and we were 1 boneheaded play away from beating them. even with martinez going down in that game. so i like i said, i see no reason we can't beat purdue 'at home' if martinez plays the whole game.
  11. if martinez is back to 100%, there's no excuse to lose to purdue at home. eastern washington beat purdue. yes, purdue beat a #23 ranked BC team. BC should not have been ranked. their 3 wins were against holy cross, uMass, and wake forest. so yea, losing to purdue at home with a healthy martinez would be worse than any of our losses so far IMO.
  12. obviously frost is here for at least 5 years. wonder if lane has interest in coordinator position down the road to follow in his dad's footsteps. i get that he's from nebraska, but it's odd to be supporting another team mid season.
  13. unfortunately michigan seems to have hit their stride. it could be a bloodbath if bunch plays again.
  14. c'mon man, we're 0-2 for the first time since the 50s. this is not going to be a ucf rebuild. we are at least 4-5 years away from really competing.
  15. only lost by 5 to 'Troy st.' and yes i know they were 11-2 last year, but they lost to boise by 36 2 weeks ago
  16. i fear frost's offense isn't cut out for the big 10. i personally wish we copied wisconsin's style. it seems to be working out for them.
  17. i mean riley never started 0-2, but i get what you're saying. will things get better? only time will tell. we are stuck with frost for at least 5 years so i hope it works out.
  18. only thing that bothered me was bunch snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds left on the playclock. everything else was very encouraging. i hope frost addresses his reasoning for not running more clock with a walkon qb in the game.
  19. even if it's the minor, i can't imagine frost is going to rush him back. martinez has a long career ahead of him. i predict we don't see martinez again until purdue at the earliest
  20. could be a good thing. we need martinez healthy all year long to have a good season. and no other players were at risk of injury. it worked out well for ucf last year.
  21. i have no idea how they would have determined seating. i'm sure a lot of people's tickets got lost or damaged from the weather. i would imagine it would have been first come first serve and tickets would have been free.
  22. that would not have worked. agreement was in place with Fox for the game to be on at 7pm.
  23. just because it hasn't happened in a long time doesn't mean it can't happen again next year or the year after that. i know a lot of people who wasted a lot of time and money to be here tonight, and their night was ruined. a retractable dome is the only solution that could have avoided this disaster. it's at least worth talking about.
  24. tonight could easily have been avoided with a retractable dome. add up callahan, bo, and riley's contracts and we could probably have afforded one.
