  1. Wow, the talent continues to grow for that day. If DR does commit, it’s very realistic for N to have a top 15 if not a top 10 class. I say maybe top 15 but by choice with Rhule including some overlooked but high-ceiling three-star talent.
  2. I wonder if N doesn’t get Dylan, will they not take a QB. Of course the risk of that is a couple of QBs may transfer out after spring practice.
  3. That’s a very honest reply. Neither do I know, except some 17-year-old who probably doesn’t know yet either.
  4. It looks like this is going to drag on into spring. Callahan says he is scheduled to visit Oregon I believe the third week in April. Let’s hope Nebraska puts on an huge positive impression with the March 24 visits. This will be one of the biggest recruiting weekends ever. N has really loaded up on bringing in top talent.
  5. I wish the kid well. I don’t blame him for not wanting to wait.
  6. Do some think he is better than Dae'Vonn Hall?
  7. That is probably it. So he may be doing the same thing with USC and GA.
  8. I’m trying to keep a level head. We don’t know if he is still talking to top recruits after the USC visit. I have read he was doing peer recruiting for OSU before he decommitted. So I don’t know how current this is.
  9. That doesn’t sound like a USC lean. The question is has he continue to do peer recruiting for Nebraska after the USC visit?
  10. All I can say is whether I like it or not, USC makes a lot of sense. The Husker family connections could come into play, but maybe not. No one knows what’s in the kid’s head. I get what you are saying. It’s just that it won’t be just him and Nelson. Most likely USC will recruit another big name in the 2025 recruiting class and on and on from there. That’s what I was getting at. I don’t see that at Nebraska. Yes there will probably be another Baker, Kyler or Celeb. But it’s far from guaranteed it will be Dylan. But if he picks USC I will hope for his success.
  11. As it stands right now it’s USC. Since he is visiting USC after the Nebraska and Oregon visits, the big question is will one of his officials be back to Nebraska? If yes, we may still be in the running. The family wants to check things out thoroughly. But as of right now it doesn’t look good for Nebraska. But will dad remind him that once he would be enrolled at USC, he would be just another player, unlike at Nebraska. So who knows.
  12. Never mind my bad. There weren’t any. Sorry.
  13. Didn’t Fred have two time outs left against MN with 7 seconds left? I didn’t have any sound where I was watching it. So I wasn’t sure. But if he did, why didn’t he use one to design a play?
  14. Nebraska will really have to lay down the red carpet, and show Dylan the visit of his life to get him. I fear more now with another visit to USC, it will be hard to convince him to N unless family ties are more important. Plus USC is very strong academically.
  15. That would be that nice man who had beaten his wife. Zack Smith. I love him. — Sarcasm Hour with Pedro G
  16. Either that makes him commit there now, or that makes Dylan and the family angry. And he then decides between GA and N, if true of course. I tend to think they don’t want to be rushed.
  17. He has a visit scheduled to Lincoln soon after GA. Perhaps that will remind him why he was possibly leaning to Nebraska before the USC visit. With his passion for Nebraska and if he believes the N coaches can develop him as good, hopefully USC won’t make a difference. Yes, USC makes a lot of since, but he may have different priorities, different needs and wants that only he understands. So what seems logical doesn’t always play out. I truly believe N is still in the running, but if he goes to USC it won’t surprise me.
  18. My last reply I was a bit out of context. What I was trying to say is after the GA visit, I expect Dylan will trend back to Georgia, and after the N visit, he will hopefully be reminded of the whole family’s passion for Nebraska and why he was possibly leaning toward them before. I think Wiltfong’s accuracy ratings are a bit misleading. Does he count in them with his change in the crystal balls in the last minute before a recruit commits? Did he count his accuracy when he had a crystal ball for Coleman to Colorado and then back to Nebraska right before the recruit committed? Wiltfong doesn’t really know until right before the prospect commits — kind of like what direction a snowstorm is coming. We have come up with all kinds of scenarios, but we don’t know truly what’s most important to him. It could be any of them.
  19. As I thought after the latest visit, USC would trend up. But they may lose some of that grip after the GA visit. Fortunately the N visit is last as of right now, and hopefully that will remind him of his apparent passion for the program.
  20. That certainly could be, and he may go to USC. But on the other hand, his dad not only was a super star at Nebraska, but he also has a very close bound to the university. Dylan has most likely all his life has seen his dad’s collections of Husker gear and photos. He probably has a room specially made for them. Thus Dylan perhaps — but of course I really don’t know for sure — has bled red all his life. It could be very special place for him. And having his uncle retained by MR has probably had a very emotional impact on him, besides the possible emotions of growing up with Husker football. So with these powerful emotions and if he feels Rhule and his staff will coach him as well as the other schools, plus he is blown away by the fans and the facilities, these could all come together for Nebraska. Yes there are a lot of IFS here, but I’m an optimist this could become a reality with all these possible emotions that he may not have for the other schools. Yes, thanks to Frost, he had a brief reason for not wanting to come. But again, if he keeps shopping and this drags on, I will feel less hopeful.
  21. I suspect after the USC visit, he would tilt a little toward them, and then the same thing after GA. But hopefully his N visit will tilt it back to the Huskers. I be real worried if either one of those other schools were the last visit. But if he continues to shop around, I don’t know.
  22. I happen to run across Zack Smith’s online show. What a d#%k. Not surprising with his bad Ohio State history. He believes DR is a prima donna and thinks OSU may had pulled his offer. He predicts DR will be a bust. Also he still believes N and Coach Prime were working on a contract. But listening to him talk he is such an arrogant POS. The only reason I’m bringing this up is I heard him talk for the first time by accident and didn’t know he was that arrogant. He doesn’t deserve to be on any coaching staff. Now back to regular programming.
  23. He apparently still wants to visit Oregon. So unfortunately that will probably happen after the N visit. I just hope he is blown away with the N visit and he commits, but it appears he still wants to shop. Callahan and his crew say Colorado and Texas are in consideration, if still on the outside of the inner circle. Like I said the more visits he makes may dilute our chances. I hope he doesn’t visit CU, and why Texas when they have two number ones already at QB.
  24. I do believe Trev is willing to put up the money to get him, more so than the previous ADs. I basing that on how much he is willing to pay MR.
