We jump started his career or did you forget. WE... We that donated, We that spent millions to upgrade. We that filled the stadium. We that had 10k fans at his first super regional. We.. meaning Husker Nation. His ungratefulness was on full display this weekend and I'm hoping "WE" turn against him as he turned against us. Against our coach. Against our players. Against his shortstop. Pathetic display by him and WE should call him out.

Then why are you busting my chops? Seems to me your defending him because you DO care. If you didn't care you'd have read my comments and moved on. Your loyal to him and it shows. I don't blame you, I was as well. Things changed this weekend. He had 3 post games to say something, anything, positive about Bolt, about our program, about our boys being cheated out of an opportunity to play on the biggest stage. 3 times he held post game interviews and in the final interview he's asked to comment about the placement of Nebraska in his regional. His response.. "it's a tough job being a committee member" ... Copped out, Bailed out, Show his cowardly character. No coach has been supported more than him at the CWS by the fans. So, the moment he's given an opportunity to show real gratitude, he spits in our face. In his former players face.. Grow some and confess. You're a vanhorn loyalist. You jump my chops in his defense not because anything I've stated is wrong. You jumped my chops because vanhorn is your guy.

Hoping his use plays into their downfall. I'd be elated to see NC State take it to them.

I expected him to say something positive about our program, our boys, our coach. I expected him to side with us and stand strong. To make a statement about placing a power 5 champion as the 2 seed in the 1 seed regional. Crickets and not only crickets, he poured honey down their throats with his response to the seedings question.

And additionally, he easily could have helped his former player by stating how competitive we were. He easily could have said we played them as tough or tougher than any team he faced this year. He said nothing. Not once did he recognize our players, our coaches or our program. Never, NEVER AGAIN, will I in any way applaud dvh. He sold his soul when he walked away from this program. He closed the door on this state, the fans of this state and players he coached here. HE'S NOT DESERVING OF OUR RESPECT OR OUR GRATITUDE. Just like he bailed on us to Arkansas, he bailed on us last night!!!

As much as I hate saying this I'll say it anyway. I watched DVH's post game. He was specifically asked about having to play against us. His answer was straight honey to the committee. "I know it's a hard job selecting so I don't blame them".. What a piss poor, kiss the NCAA a$$, response. He had the opportunity to stand up for his player, for his former employer, for fans that think of him as the godfather of husker baseball. What does he do? He spits in our face!!! I for one will be at every Arky game if they make the CWS (hoping they never again make it) and will do everything I can to yell out how I feel. He sold out! He failed the huskers!! He kissed the ncaa's arse!!! He absolutely doesn't deserve any support! None, not even an applause.

Yet the team logo is Omahog.. Kind of lessens your attempt at slander. Take my advice, give credit to a team you felt played and showed better than expected. Winning with humility is class. Losing with dignity also.. something I've not showed. I'll say congratulations to the R-backs and mean sincerely mean it. That said, I'll also admit my voice will be against them if they make the CWS.

That player reacted to how your fans were trashing him. Your players throwing throat slash was seen. Very trashy fans that support trashy players. They played the dvh support right out of Omaha. You might think you'll fill the stadium but you won't and EVERY arky opponent will be the crowd favorite. So best that you congratulate the husker players for exceeding your expectations and move on.

And had a player back then throw the throat slash he'd have been sent to the shower. dvh lost his class when he sold his soul.

If your an Arky fan and your here, respect to you but zero respect to your team, your coaches (including DVH) and your fans. Stomping plates, throwing hand jesters, knife gestures to the throat... Absolute TRASH!!! Hoping every fan here in Omaha buys all GA tickets and sounds off with each pitch against y'all. I'd wish you good luck if there was an ounce of decency in even one player/coach. It doesn't exist. Absolute TRASH. Trash from the fans, from players and the coaches alike. What a disappointment dvh has become. Sold his soul.

It was a heck of a season!!! After watching how we were treated I hope we boo arky out of Omaha if they make it. Very poor behavior by their players, the first base coach and their fans. Absolute intolerable character for a DVH team. The razorbacks should be treated with the same when and if they reach Omaha.

I understand the reason. Simply exhausted with the coach comparisons. If my tone struck harshly it's because I am enjoying this championship season to its fullest.

We want the game played tonight. Having it played tomorrow would hurt our chances in the super. Play it tonight so the rotation is mostly setup for the super.

Honestly, who cares. It seems to me you a nitpicking Erstad. Get over it. Coach Erstad gave more to this program then any coach before or after him ever will. Donations, sweat, loyalty, time.... He left the cupboard full, with a unified, tradition rich, scrappy group of young men. Young men that want to leave this program on a high note. Bolt doesn't have this success without Darin's hard work and support. Just stop trying to belittle what Darin Erstad, a humble, hard working, dedicated father and incredible supporter of Nebraska, did for this program. Darin's accolades will long out last your petty comparisons. Enjoy the moment to its fullest. Be thankful of Darin's efforts and appreciate the play of this group. After all, they've earned it
