  1. I’ll speculate on this - maybe it is a more simple, non legal issue. A lot of articles recently written about how last year was rough due to the fact that some kids didn’t want to fulfill the punishment set out by their peers when they were late to practice, skipped team meals, didn’t attend class, etc. That was part of the old culture that needed major change. Pure speculation, but if these two were given an opportunity to do the right thing (i.e. running stadiums for being late), and refused to do so, then they should be indefinitely suspended until they get on board with the culture change or they should be released. We don’t need naysayers on this team. Again... pure speculation.
  2. I feel like we got the post acquisition CEO speech. “It’s okay team, we’ll keep things very similar, but we’ll make a few simple changes that are for the good of the organization. AT&T and Southwestern Bell have their own special characteristics.” Employee #467 “Sir, what do you expect to change first?” CEO “We’ll start with a simple software conversion. In order to make the changes we want to make, we’ll need to convert Southwestern Bell to AT&T’s communication board system so that our operators can more easily handle the influx of calls.” Employee #69 “Sir, I’ve been through these mergers before, we know that you’ll start with a small change that will ultimately end in a required subscription plan.” CEO (whispering to COO) “Please find Employee #69’s notice and severance package and deliver it immediately.” Employee #69 “What do you mean I’m out and I’m getting a discount offer to the Jelly of the Month club?!” (Employee #69 has left the chat room) CEO “Where was I? Awe, yes... the $24.99 subscribers fee.”
  3. I love this because it tells me their talking heads aren’t paying much attention, and the beat down will be more surprising and painful. I can’t wait to watch the massacre at Folsom. A group of buddies and I are going. Side note: We were just there for the Dead and Company show a month ago. Some guy shows up wearing a Huskers themed Grateful Dead shirt and hat. Not a single CU themed shirt in sight. He got the first win of the 2019 season. 1-0 vs CU this year. Off to a good start. (No, it wasn’t me)
  4. I second that! He’s our guy, regardless of what happens going forward. I’m proud to have him as our coach. High character man teaching boys to be men. I’ll take that any day.
  5. This is what sets Scott Frost apart from all other coaches in my opinion. He was the key note speaker at the Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders conference hosted by US Strategic Command at Offutt, AFB. Humble, well spoken and wise.
  6. This is the best video I’ve seen to date. Frost was the keynote speaker at the Empowering Tomorrows Leaders Conference put on by US Strategic Command. He is speaking to military leaders at Offutt, AFB. Humble, well spoken and wise. I’ve watched it 4 times. It’s roughly 50 minutes of tremendous insight. This... is Nebraska.
  7. Good conversation, and I’m interested to find out more myself, from a medical standpoint. I think Rogan must have referred to a study completed over a 25 year period, not a study with effects on 25 year olds (or he got his “facts” wrong). No conclusive evidence to back this theory up yet as there are too many variables. Here is a good article about what’s been done and what’s to come: https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/what-are-marijuanas-long-term-effects-brain
  8. I might have missed it on an earlier page, but he’s showing some love for Wandale on Twitter back in December.
