  1. Spot the difference between these two and win a prize: Watch 0:35 to 1:27 VS.
  2. Hard Labor was the common job and inhaling, ingesting, and practically bathing in chemicals was a big part of those jobs during the industrial revolution, before there were labor law protections for working conditions. A lot of the heavy labor was done with the arms and back, now we have modern day equipment to move tons in weight with a push of a button. Everything around us has become contaminated (again) (on purpose). Ingestion through the skin of chemical cleaners, pesticides, and sanitizing agents. Water has fluoride and only God knows what in it. Air has tons of pollutants in it that we constantly inhale. Food has petroleum seepage from plastic containers and tons of poisonous preservatives in it. Animals we consume have antibiotics and hormones in them. Plants that we consume have been genetically altered and are bathed in pesticides. The genetically altered animals we consume are eating genetically altered plants. On and on. You actually think we are making progress in life expectancy? We started out with slightly longer lives: Adam lived to the age of 930 (Gen 5:5) and had a son.. Seth lived to the age of 912 (Gen 5:8) and had a son.. Enos lived to the age of 905 (Gen 5:11) and had a son.. Cainan lived to the age of 910 (Gen 5:14) and had a son.. Mahalaleel lived to the age of 895 (Gen 5:17) and had a son.. Jared lived to the age of 962 (Gen 5:20) and had a son.. Enoch lived to the age of 365 (Gen 5:23) and had a son.. Methuselah lived to the age of 969 (Gen 5:27) and had a son.. Lamech lived to the age of 777 (died 5 years before the flood)(Gen 5:31) and had a son.. Noah lived to the age of 950 (Gen 9:29) and had a son.. Shem lived 600 years (lived 502 years after the flood) and had a son..
  3. It is looking more and more like the Big 12 is going to duct tape itself together and add a few more teams to remain somewhat relevant. Names in their pot are BYU, Boise State, Houston, UCF, and Cincinnati. Nobody is going to take them seriously as a power conference even if they do go this route. They are pretty much done for when it comes to the lime light.
  4. So when Frost goes undefeated this year, how are you going to celebrate?
  5. Lets see here, I am going to use my brain and look up the protocol of every vaccine ever created and notice how there is a minimum of a 6 year Experimental phase where the vaccine is tested on a small group of people along side a control group. I am also going to use my brain and notice that every vaccine in our nation's history has never used an mRNA delivery system as the current one does. I will continue to use my brain and take notice that there are tens of thousands of adverse reactions from the new experimental drug resulting in major medical problems. There is a reason why this is being called an "experimental vaccine". It is because YOU are the experiment and if things go side ways for everyone who took it a few years down the road, then what? I will continue to be in the control group until the FDA authorizes the vaccine and takes away its "experimental" status, at which point it will actually qualify an an actual vaccine just like the rest of our life saving vaccines. Which again, if you read the first sentence that I wrote, will not occur until YEARS from now. On a historical side note, human beings are not to be experimented on unless they are willing subjects who are fully informed of the risks as per the Nuremberg Code. ANY institution that forces its students, athletes, employees, etc. to take the current experimental vaccine, is fully financially liable for ANY bodily harm or damages caused to those people up to including wrongful death lawsuits for the duration of the medication which in this case is the rest of your life since the mRNA spike-T cell delivery system never stops. We are going to see a tidal wave of lawsuits completely obliterate employers, major universities, and more here very soon. The employers and universities who use their brains and listen to their lawyers will tell their students and employees that it is up to them to decide if they want to take the experimental drug or not. I think this is off topic so won't be replying about this anymore.
  6. No, I am addressing your issue which was about money and the loss of money by playing on a PAC12 rotation.
  7. The guy is being paid to be their football coach, not their doctor. The team does have several doctors who should be answering the medical questions. Everyone wants to make this a black and white issue (as with everything) but it is not and is HIGHLY complex as the world is going to soon find out. No matter how you slice it the vax is considered an experimental drug by the FDA. This is why it cannot be forced (yet) on the public. People cannot be forced to be a part of a medical experiment. A Doctor from one of the world's leading institutions in health at John Hopkins University says that having Natural Immunity is SEVEN times more effective in fighting the Delta Variant than getting the vax. Turns out, God's design of our bodies (immune system) is still the best option. Man always wants to tinker with what God has given us and it ALWAYS goes off the rails. https://dailycaller.com/2021/08/04/dr-makary-natural-immunity-covid-19-vaccine/
  8. More fans watch USC vs. Nebraska in person and on TV than ________________(fill in any non-power 5 school).
  9. The one who tried to back us out of the OU game is now gone. Trev will be looking for the toughest opponents he can find to fill out our future schedules. In order to be the best you have to beat the best. We will not be climbing back into the top 25 by beating Fordham or Akron.
  10. NU vs. USC at home or NU vs. Colorado at home compared to NU vs. Bethune-Cookman at home or NU vs. Arkansas State at home. Which of these will have more people pass through the gates (believe it or not, despite 'selling out' there are actual empty seats during some NU games....mostly for non-conference games against non-power 5 teams)? Which of these games will have the highest number of people tuning in to watch? This is not hard.
  11. Best practice team in the NCAA.
  12. In negotiations as we type. Might as well try and stop the sun from rising. I personally cannot wait to do away with playing teams like Chattanooga, Troy, South Dakota State, Bethune-Cookman, Arkansas State, McNeese, South Alabama etc. We have been playing USC since 1969 and have yet to beat them. I want revenge for 2006 and 2007: I want to beat Arizona State a few more times for taking our perfect season away from us in 1996. I want to beat Colorado at least 10 times in a row to avenge 2018-19 last minute losses. These will be games I will actually care about. I think that sentiment will carry throughout the base.
  13. Because millionaire lawyers for the PAC12 and B1G and millionaire top admin for the PAC12 and B1G are very much comparable to a random message board poster in contract decision ability.
  14. I am certain that the lawyers of the PAC12 and B1G will make sure that the deal they come up with will be a step forward in financial gain rather than a step backwards. If you think they are going to come up with a system that will be a net loss for every school in their conference, think again.
  15. Lots of words but no valid points. Playing Power 5 teams will always look better than the lower conference teams in terms of strength of schedule. A loss to Oregon State looks a lot better than a loss to Appalachian State! The rest of your issue is centered on the loss of home games. I am sure that everyone in both conferences will be getting the same amount of home games every two years is being negotiated. One year you will be short a home game and the next year you will be up a home game. It all evens out. Between the two conferences hundreds of Millions will be saved on no longer paying to play lower tier schools for non-conference games. Only a fan perspective could see all of this as a loss. From each athletic department's perspective and conference perspective, this is a home run and is going to happen.
  16. Would be a welcomed change for both the Pac 12 and B1G to do away with having to pay millions to other schools to come play their teams in their non-conference schedule. Now we can be on a rotation of Pac 12 teams each year for our non-conference games and not pay out a single cent. This also gives the Rose Bowl more credence given that it is between a Pac 12 school and a B1G school. So we will basically have a union between these two conferences yet remain separate at the same time. I wonder if the ACC and SEC will being doing the same thing? Losing at home to a team like Troy or Appalachian State while also paying them millions has been a problem the conference has been wanting to correct for some time now. Now the solution is here. No more millions to the smaller programs. The gap between the haves and have-nots will get even bigger. No more national TV embarrassments. Our money stays in-house. Our strength of schedule improves dramatically (for those who will determine who is in and who is out for the tourney). It is win-win-win.
  17. Source to Dan Patrick that was right about the covid shutdown before it happened is saying there is a Pac12 B1G merger in the works "to preserve the Rose Bowl". With the 12 team playoff most likely happening, the Rose Bowl will become a rather meaningless bowl. BUT if a merger occurred, the Rose Bowl could serve as the conference championship game for the newly minted national conference.
  18. The problem is not being able to compete....the problem is the GRIND. If you are playing the defenses of LSU, Bama, Georgia, A&M, OU, Florida, Auburn, South Carolina in consecutive weeks versus the defenses of Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, West Virgina, Texas Tech, Okie lite, TCU, KSU, which one of these string of games would result in more attrition? Injuries? Loss in team morale? Getting to the end of the season in the SEC is a marathon. Getting to the end of the season in the Big 12 is a light jog in comparison. The B1G is easily far tougher than the Big 12 (as we well know) and the SEC is a full two pegs higher then that. TX is going to get crushed and OU is in for a rude awakening.
  19. So how long is it before the college athletes form a union and start to demand a slice of the TV revenue pie?
  20. Has it sunk in for the OU and TX fanbases yet? They took the mountain of cash and what are they getting for it? TX just went from the middle of the pack with a potential slim shot at losing the conference title game to OU, to being bottom dwellers in the SEC. Missouri has reserved a spot for you. OU just went from perennial conference champions in the Big 12 (with maybe one loss to KSU) to 2-3 losses in the SEC and most likely not even getting into the conference title game. The environment of the away games in the Big 12 are nothing compared to the hostile environment away games in the SEC. This will go down as more of a win for the pocket books of ESPN, SEC and the Athletic Departments of OU/TX, than a win for their respective fanbases.
  21. Just don't see Okie Lite and WV as the top level athletic programs that the SEC is gunning for. They want the best of the best (in football mainly).
  22. Word is getting around about the 'Super Deal' the SEC made with ESPN. Which is that any team they add to the league will get a FULL share of the money without the other teams taking a loss of one single cent. The deal does specify that they must go after top level athletic programs. This deal is immediate for any team joining the SEC, for they will be paid their full share as soon as they start competing in the league. NO other conference in the country has this deal to offer new schools! You can bet everything you own that OU and Texas will be leaving the Big 12 after this season and getting their big bucks starting in 2022 as SEC full members. You can bet your butt that every school entering the SEC has been approved by ESPN brass in advance. If Clemson and FSU go the SEC, the "power" conferences will just be the B1G, SEC, and PAC12 with just the B1G and SEC who will be the only two conferences that have teams who have even a remote chance at winning a National Championship in the near future and the scale will be heavily tilted toward the SEC. In other words, Game. Set. Match. SEC wins. Unless the B1G has some major development up its sleeve. Given how our leadership handled covid, I have serious doubts they have anything planned. They are just spectators to this masterstroke plan by ESPN and the SEC as we all are.
  23. Or they were told by the SEC brass to get in line or suffer their wrath.
