    yep. I was a grad student at texas a&m and currently at UNL. the difference in $$$ and fan drawl to the SEC compared to big10 is amazing.

    so they would leave their NBC contract, break their agreement with ACC for other sports to join the big10? this isn't happening.

    Notre Dame will be in the ACC if a conference. Clemson will not leave the southeast. if anything they will join the SEC. also ACC is locked into tv rights until 2036. USC is not equal to OU or TEXAS literally none of these teams have as much money or fans as OU or Texas

    to be fair most original big10 fans would say this about UNL now. today I don't think rutgers or maryland would get the invite.

    that could be true. my brain might be stuck in the "tv market" mindset. we need to be thinking about the amount of people that go to games and also would subscribe to a disney plus or netflix etc. to watch the games. Many people think this is where its all going. and KU hoops has a TON of fans.

    the problem with KU is the football program. their facilities are third world (in todays standards). the have a stink coming off them. football makes all the money. bball is an after thought. also they do not have wrestling which I think is a requirement

    Question for the old timers... Do you see more people staying in the lots and partying (watching the game, eating, drinking, etc) than in the past? Is it a function of more entertainment in the lots or a reflection of the comfort within the stadium?
