yep. my wife and I went to one and only game. Indiana 2019. We had about 1 foot of bench to sit on and people in our space in the front and knees in our backs. You could not pay me to go back. especially post covid? not gonna happen.

basketball only really need 4 great players and 2 -3 good guys. i know you guys think baseball is sweet but its really not a thing. its dominated by the SEC. little to no northern teams actually matter. the tv ratings get beat by the softball world series. football is very hard. in a spot like UNL you have to have the right guy.... its like matt campbell with iowa state. lightning has to strike.

The next AD needs to be a forward thinking younger person. College Athletics are about to change GREATLY in the next 3 - 5 years. If UNL wants to return to its previous football success they NEED to hire someone that is willing to think outside the box when it comes to student athletes. (I'm not 100% what this would be (im not an AD candidate)) UNL has to find the edge similar to 80s and 90s lax steroid and walkon policy. I think they can do it. its just going to take the right person. IDK if Frost is the guy.... but the new AD must be willing to change the culture and mindset of the department.
