So you're argument that he is bad is based on a game where they scored 43 points?  And that it's not the defense's fault that 43 points wasn't enough to win the game?

Ok...you convinced me.  He's the greatest of all time.

    He is pretty good.

They lost so many games because their defense was basically the worst defense in D1.

Yeah up 29 to nothing against Stanford and the score 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half.  Not the defense.

The Colorado game is going to come down to how uncomfortable we can make Shedeur. If he has time in the pocket we're going to have a long day.

We've lacked really good edge pressure since... what? Randy Gregory? I saw some hype about our D Line today. But we've heard that before.

He's not that good.  He lost 8 games last year.  We would have beaten them with a mediocre quarterback.

    Scott Frost!

He would be an excellent choice, always willing to have a drink with the boosters.  Might even consider Carl Pelini...he has connecions.

247 has Tony White on their hot board for the UCLA head coaching job, noting that he played for the Bruins.

PJ Fleck is also getting some mentions as a candidate. IDK if UCLA is even an upgrade over Minnesota these days.

Yeah that's his agent talking trying to scam more money from the idiots in Minnesota...they're not hiring Fleck.

Same reason he hasn't been mentioned for any other jobs.

    Frost Advisory.  16-31

I think he would be an excellent choice.  There are quite a few drinking establishments near by, not sure if they have a golf simulator.

I think some of the “free-for-all” stuff will be improved. Everything is so new now. It takes time to make adjustments. A couple things being mentioned:

Don’t open the transfer portal until bowl season is over

Player contracts - they get more $ if they stay X years.

Your suggestions make to much sense, they will never be adopted.

    You misspelled Scott Frost. ;)

Seriously though, Iowa is going to hire a Joe Philbin or Paul Chryst type probably.  The most boring, and most Iowa, hire. Kirk was quoted saying something like "the new OC must respect the Iowa offense" or "Iowa style" or some other nonsense recently.

I personally want to watch the meltdown if they hired Frost, but it honestly would be a better hire than the names above who will bring zero change.

Not enough alcohol in Iowa for Scott.

Name a game we weren’t in (sans Michigan) where a proper qb, and some offensive weapons couldn’t have swayed the result!? I’ll wait…

    A bowl game

    Couple of quick questions.

    1) @Mavric Had posted James "Sackman" Williams would not play last night to preserve his RS.  Selfishly, I really wanted  him to play.  Thoughts from the board, would he have made a difference?  I think he could have helped on those third downs to have gotten pressure on Mordecai.  4 tackles and 2 sacks in 3 games.

    Yes

    2) Any word on Sanford or other injuries?  Sanford has turned into a great asset.  Wish he had another year.

Sadly another player wasted by the former regime.

5-7 is not an improvement over Frost teams.  We knew the Big 10 West would be weaker than the East, but not as awful as it ended up being.  Our schedule ended up being way easier than expected.

Meanwhile in Scottsdale Arizona an unshaven, drunk, fallen Nebraska icon stumbles from a local drinking establishment is heard slurring “I could have done better”
