  1. Now, when I was playing college ball at Maryland, I found this taped to a locker.

It means that the difference between good and great is that much.
If you think you can't win, you won't.
If you think you're losing, you've lost.
If you refuse to strive to the limit, the limit's as far as you'll go.
If you give in to the fear and pain, there are thrills you'll never know.
We have all been put here by God as a test of our courage and faith.
The rewards to his warriors are many. The rewards to the losers, disgrace.
Some say winning's not everything, that competition has a limited place.
But if that cowardly slogan is true, why did God name this the human race?

One of the most fun games I attended was against NM State back around 82 or 83.  As normal for that time frame, we were destroying the Aggies.  They had maybe 10 fans up in that corner of the stadium.  Their cheerleaders were leading cheer for basically no one.

In the second half, a few of us stood down across the fence from then and started cheering along with them.  The group grew to a couple dozen dazed and bored husker fans supporting the Aggie cheerleaders.   They came over to the fence several times to say how  cool it was and to thank us for making their day.

A feel good moment for sure.

    Where they attractive ?

Long time fan, and just got enough courage to create a screen name.  At any rate, the blackshirts look unstoppable and I am loving what I see from the offense. RTB = Run the Ball.

Homer take, but give Ruhle 2-4 years and we will dominate the B1G.  Tell me I am wrong comparing this team to the team the last 2-4 years. Just Sayin

YEAH I DON'T SEE US LOSING A GAME THE REST OF THE SEASON !!!!!!

  4. Let's not forget Luben:

    Before Nebraska (Wahoo HS)
Luben finished his prep career at Wahoo High School as one of the most productive running backs in recent Nebraska high school history. Luben totaled 4,741 career rushing yards and scored 474 points during his career. As a senior, Luben led the Warriors to a perfect 13-0 record and the Class C-1 state championship. He rushed for 2,136 yards and 41 touchdowns and capped his career with 41 carries for 268 yards and five touchdowns in the state title game. Luben was the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald's Class C-1 all-state team and also earned All-Omaha Area honors. Luben was also an all-state pick as a junior when Wahoo finished 10-2 and reached the state semifinal round. Luben also played on both sides of the ball as a sophomore for Wahoo’s 10-2 team.

    I guess I disagree.

The talent or depth isn't there at receiver, the RBs are mediocre, our best TE is a walk on and the left side of our OL gets rag-dolled seemingly every play.

Improved QB play would certainly help Nebraska reach a bowl game this season - the schedule is very soft. But 8 wins? I just don't see it. The issues on offense start with terrible QB play, but it doesn't end there.

At this point we can't judge the offense or players because we don't have a quarterback...It\they may still be sub par if\when we get one.

i think it's safe to say we got a fraud. what a colossal waste of money. won't be going to another game until the rhule era is over. so about 2.5 years.

also satterfield might be the worst OC in all of college football. he should be fired tomorrow at the very least.

I agree it looks bad and we have a crap show starting at quarterback.

Nebraska is probably slightly better defensively than 2022 which is good. Minnesota has good receivers, probably the best in the B1G West and we took away the running game completely. They'll keep us in games.

On offense, the team is signifactly worse. With no Palmer to bail them out and a lack of other receivers and a QB that seems to struggle in the passing game, Nebraska will like be a less dynamic and more turnover prone offense than 2022. It's hard to overstate how bad the offense was tonight, especially the pass game. It was brutal outside of the broken play. The run game at RB is below average, and the only reliable offense is QB runs. We're essentially the 2021 AMart offense but much worse.

You are way to kind.  I was hoping he would just run at the end of the game since his arm was\is a liability.
