  1. Or have an on the record source. I guess that would work too
  2. How does that speak to the question? Ukraine got every weapon they wanted including Javelins that were previously NOT provided. Z even said so. Trump wanted EU and other nations to pay more for NATO. OK, so does much of the US citizenry. Other than those two concrete examples, which ended up not being examples, the author just kinda blusters opinion that’s no better than than some opinion without facts from a Trump kept things in check type person.
  3. Is there gonna be named source for that quote? Givennpast precedence of the media making up quotes during the Russia investigation, I would guess not
  4. It’s a good valid question and probably tough to answer because of all the nuance involved, as it usually is with foreign policy. 1) No sanctions on Nord Stream, and trying harder to convince Germany it’s not in their best interest could be one. 2) Maybe Putin doesn’t believe Biden represents a position of strength based on Biden’s constant pandering? 3) waiting too long to address the issue is a possibility. Other than that, Foreign Policy is obviously something people don’t look to me for advice on and for good reason. I try and leave that to experts outside of a few opinions I have from time to time. That said, Putin really seems to want the entire country of Ukraine back eventually, other Eastern Blocs probably next. I asked before, so why now? He did this in 2014 and now 2022, but not in between. What’s different for him?
  5. Just remember, George knew he had an alleged pedo help running his LP group and did nothing about it. His moral authority sucks.
  6. https://nypost.com/2019/10/23/texas-jury-rules-against-divorced-dad-trying-to-stop-7-year-old-sons-gender-transition/ 7 yrs old…..7! You think a 7 year old knows wtf transitioning is and what it means for the rest of their lives??? I’m the proud parent of a 6 yr old and the answer is no. Give me time and I’ll find many many more examples
  7. No one’s legal vote has been suppressed and no one’s legal ability to vote has been suppressed.
  8. I’m guessing your being obtuse again. This isn’t about what kid screws another kid. Which you already know.
  9. I will answer this way… Do you believe we should be compelled to repute alleged child abuse? Or should we just stay out of it cause freedom and such? my view is we should. I also view parents pushing kids towards believing they were supposed to be a different gender is mental child abuse. Any parent who does this is a complete piece of s#!t. If the kid seems confused, get them counseling and see what comes of it. When the kid becomes an adult I don’t give a s#!t anymore. They want to go down that road, it’s their life, but at least they were given time to let their mind develop more before making that type of decision. maybe they should just make a no minor transition allowed law instead of whatever he’s trying to do now (which I haven’t read up on besides the one letter posted)
  10. What do you think Abbott is actually trying to protect. My understanding is he is also following the science that suggests kids don’t have the capacity to make a life altering decision like this so why allow it?
  11. Once again you won’t actually answer a legitimate question that’s asked of you.
  12. What’s shameful is allowing these parents to do this to their kids. I can’t for the life of me understand why you think this is ok.
  13. Do you literally not read a post before you reply to it? Whacked out dips#!t parents push this trans nonsense on their kids (in some cases less than 5 years old) because they are upset the birth of their child wasn’t the gender they wanted. Did I ever say people want to pick their own gender at birth? amazingly someone here compares not feeling well to parents fundamentally changing their kids body by taking drugs to stop puberty so eventually they can mentally abuse those kids long enough to make them want to have their d!(k chopped off and artificial vag made. You know, kinda like having the flu for a few days.
  14. With your comment, are you telling us that you believe parents should be allowed to force/cohere/allow minors into sex change operations?????? To go against biological science because the parent didn’t get the gender they wanted at birth many times!!!! my opinion is good for Abbott because it’s bat s#!t f#&%ing crazy to allow an under 18 ye old go through any of that. No possible f#&%ing way they have the developed mental/emotional capability to go through that irrational process. Good lord it’s amazing people are actually for allowing that.
  15. But Tom Cotton was ridiculed for being way ahead of the curve on this. thanks for nothing Anthony.
  16. I wasn’t actually talking about the far far left.
  17. Everyone you cited was still called a racist, some were called xenophobic, some were called homophobic, all were called anti-female, and some were called granny killers by the tolerant left. Every one of these people of character.
  18. I’ve come to realize you can’t back up your claim with any actual relevant facts (LP must not have figured out their spin yet) and that’s why you keep making these odd reading comprehension mistakes. No point in going any further with you.
  19. Did Trump admin not do sanctions against Russia? Did Ukrainian funding lapse? Did Trump supply Javelins? (What does Zelensky think of those). what sanctions did Trump admin ease up on that you speak about? If there were some, what did that effect? As a follow up, why did Dems filibuster a sanctions bill on Nord Stream?
  20. You hate Trump so much that you aren’t reading simple posts correctly. You have a preconceived view of what someone says vs reading and comprehending what was actually said. You constantly “imply” things to your slant or wish instead of taking comments at face value. Get that Trump hatred out and you won’t have that problem going forward. Thanks for copying the post as it clearly shows I’m questioning why this didn’t happen during the 2016-2020 years and instead is happening now? Someone here even still tries to make the claim that Trump admin tries to destroy NATO. I’d that were actually true, 2016-2020 would have been an ideal time for this. But here we are in 2022. Why now? (Hint, that’s a question because I don’t know the answer).
  21. https://www.brookings.edu/blog/order-from-chaos/2018/03/05/dont-rehabilitate-obama-on-russia/amp/ But not everything is relative; we should not slip into collective amnesia over the Obama administration’s weak and underwhelming response to Russian aggression. Throughout his presidency, Obama consistently underestimated the challenge posed by Putin’s regime. His foreign policy was firmly grounded in the premise that Russia was not a national security threat to the United States. In 2012, Obama disparaged Mitt Romney for exaggerating the Russian threat—“the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years,” Obama quipped. This breezy attitude prevailed even as Russia annexed Crimea, invaded eastern Ukraine, intervened in Syria, and hacked the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Obama’s response during these critical moments was cautious at best, and deeply misguided at worst. Even the imposition of sanctions on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine was accompanied by so much propitiation and restraint elsewhere that it didn’t deter Russia from subsequent aggression, including the risky 2016 influence operation in the United States. Obama, confident that history was on America’s side, for the duration of his time in office underestimated the damaging impact Russia could achieve through asymmetric means. France and Germany spearheaded the Minsk ceasefire process in 2014-2015, with U.S. support but without Washington at the table. The Obama administration did coordinate a far-ranging sanctions policy with the European Union—an important diplomatic achievement, to be sure. But to date, the sanctions have only had a middling effect on the Russian economy as a whole (oil and gas prices have hurt much more). And given that sanctions cut both ways—potential value is destroyed on both sides when economic activity is systematically prohibited—most of the sacrifice was (and continues to be) born by European economies, which have longstanding ties to Russia
  22. That’s not how this works. I didn’t say Biden was causing the problems. I asked why Putin was doing this now? Maybe you read someone else’s post and got confused I can copy and paste mine for you if you want. But since you actually did make some claims, the evidence or rational behind them would be awesome.
