  1. Please let me know when McConnell tried to get rid of a filibuster or speak about getting rid of the filibuster on any subject prior to Reid’s actions? I don’t mind waiting…..
  2. I get that you like to disagree with everything just because you like to disagree. That said, McConnells action was a direct result of Reid’s lifting the filibuster for federal judicial nominees. MANY warned Reid that this will be used for Supreme Court nominees in the future and he didn’t care. It was NEVER used for Supreme Court nominees prior to Reid’s actions. It’s unfortunate Reid and the Democrats led us down this path, but here we are.
  3. No, it’s truly not a Democracy. You may also check in on what a fascist actually is. The far left talking point is all the rage and makes you all feel like roses and buttercups when you spew it, though it’s just blatantly false unfortunately.
  4. LOL…Try looking a few posts beyond that. But feel free to give your opinion on the subject with examples instead of douche posts with no added value.
  5. https://www.yahoo.com/news/man-allegedly-shot-5-people-213142246.html Man who allegedly shot 5 people in Georgia, Alabama says he was targeting white men
  6. Well you’ve noticed incorrectly. Not too bothered by it, just like to correct the record.
  7. Feel free to disagree with the truth. Doesn’t bother me none.
  8. So you DO realize McConnell would never have done so without the go ahead from Harry Reid’s actions before. Downplaying Harry Reid’s role is disingenuous. Just ask the Democrats who are pissed at Harry Reid.
  9. Yes it is. Harry Reid changed the norm for the filibuster on federal judicial nominees. Mitch decided to follow Harry Reid’s lead on the Supreme Court. Mitch would not have done that without Harry Reid’s blessing of previously busting the Filibuster on judicial nominees.
  10. Yeah, and now that you've succeeded in accumulating vast amounts of wealth, it's reasonable to ask that you contribute more than others to society. They already do.
  11. The law in question says otherwise. Yes you were dishonest.
  12. Can you stop with the dishonesty.
  13. Question for “the other side” ( not you Buster). Does the individual get paid back the money he paid in the following year if his paper wealth then declines below the threshold? I’m sure everyone realizes that there were many paper wight figure millionaires and billionaires in the late 1990’s who lost darn near everything. Same in the 2001 crash and the 2007/8 crash.
  14. That would be a different law because this one we are discussing doesn’t require any sort of prayer of attempt to pray or do anything religious. Which of course you know, so not understanding why such a dumb example was used in your post
  15. That is not the claim being made and you know it by keep trying to twist things around which so won’t let you do. It’s Harry Reid’s fault their is no Supreme Court Filibuster. Democrat politicians have even criticized Harry Reid for his short sided actions. This is pretty well established. It is legit that Harry Reid got rid of the Federal judicial nominee filibuster. Yes indeed.
  16. You would pass on him anyways so nothing is new here. The one minute isn’t forced prayer or even suggested prayer time.
  17. Ok thanks. Does that change anything?
  18. Because Harry Reid ended the Filibuster for federal judicial nominees
  19. Republicans and some Democrats came out with a statement in support of the filibuster when Trump whined about getting rid of it so your narrative of events isn’t really true
  20. Reid got rid of the Federal judiciary filibuster. McConnell isn’t to blame.
  21. Ya that would be a Harry Reid issue. Take it up with him.
  22. I believe @ZRod works in the auto industry and we discussed this about a month or two ago. The chip industry miscalculated (chips for other industries are more profitable) when supply would return.
