  1. Hmmmmm……not very sanctuary city’ish of them.
  2. for #1) this kinda is how I view it too. For #2) he coulda maybe possibly just took ownership of it instead of denying it. He coulda also said “hey, in honor of the upcoming Easter Holiday, we are gonna proclaim this day on Saturday this year while also remembering the 25 other days of remembrance coming up later in the year. For #3) if we are gonna make a funny, then It’s not very inclusive of him to deny a press release about all the other days of remembrance if we are going for inclusiveness.
  3. Never been on truth social and probably never will. That said, Twitter operated with a substantial loss into the billion dollar range so saying a start up social messaging company won’t be profitable for awhile isn’t really saying anything too outlandish. And no I won’t be buying DJT stock anytime soon.
  4. I guess “we know why” you would back provide this excellent source of information to provide context into the other post you thoughtfully shared. good stuff and I learned a bit from the article. Thanks.
  5. It only took me 5 minutes to read the article and find these nuggets. For this reason, the household survey reports higher employment levels than the payroll survey. As of this January, the household survey estimated that 161.1 million Americans were employed; the payroll survey estimated 157.7 million The household survey, however, tells a different story. The chart below depicts month-to-month estimates of total U.S. employment based on surveys of consumers and employees. According to that survey, employment actually fell by 31,000 workers from December to January, and by some 700,000 over the two-month period from November to January, compared to the 353,000 and the 686,000 increases respectively reported in the payroll survey. That adds up to a difference between the two surveys of some 1.4 million jobs between November and January. Over the past year, the household survey reported that the economy added 1 million new jobs—2 million fewer than the payroll survey’s estimate. According to these estimates, full-time employment fell by some 1.6 million workers from December to January, compared with the 353,000–job increase reported in the payroll survey. Between July 2022 and January 2024, the economy added just 600,000 new full-time jobs, or 33,000 per month, compared with the payroll survey’s 5 million–job expansion estimate for the same period. The gap between the payroll survey’s employment estimates and household survey’s full-time employment estimates are largely explained, of course, by part-time workers. The household survey estimated 100,000 new part-time jobs in January and an impressive 900,000 new part-time jobs between November through January. Therefore, according to the household survey, the increase in total employment over this period was due to increases in the number of part-time employees. Over the full year, from January to January, part-time employment grew by 600,000—about 60 percent of all job gains made during the course of the year.
  6. Great job politicians of all stripes! And people to this day still don’t think the national debt is a problem
  7. Speaking of that! Maybe we should start picking out a day soon.
  8. I mean they did hire Jen Psaki. So there’s that.
  9. Mine was a prescription pack. Powder form mixes with propel. Not over 50 though
  10. Is it inclusive if you really think about it? It’s celebrating one single group of people. It’s excluding everyone else for celebratory greetings.
  11. He did choose it. He very could have changed it for a single year and CHOSE to celebrate it a day early or a day later. And did we really need another day for it anyways?
  12. I find it interesting the rage froth against you for you posting your opinion.
  13. Ya, unfortunately Aaron isn’t letting his readers understand the concept of a change in crime reporting statistics during that time and the rate at which they had been converted over.
  14. Did we cast judgement on what is a sin with this though?
  15. AOC and Bernie said we only 12 years left a few years ago, so it’s nice I guess we won’t have to worry about it then.
  16. I don’t know, so they? I would suspect The Big Guy doesn’t but I’m quite certain some Democrats do
  17. Interesting he settled on the Holiest day of the year for Christians. He coulda picked March 11th, April 10th, June 16th, October 12th this year.
  18. Your evidence doesn’t support that case study very well.
  19. Hmmm…much different than what urban dictionary has for what a “Home Home” is. Either way, if it makes you happy then I say run with it. It’s your world my man, we are all just living in it.
