true, i should say, it is not a very effective tool in our toolbox. NY'ers especially don't like having their privacy invaded. just an observation. got to get them to wear masks first.

Frost seems really enamored with this kid.......if he needs some bench time, i hope Frost is able to sit him when/if he needs to. and all these kids need to play at a high level......lots of inexperience and little practice time. growing pains to be expected.

so many people involved with a football team.......i don't see how any team can go through a season without multiple cases/infections. i have no answer, only i think the players are going to sit this one out. too much risk of them contracting the disease and passing it on to their families. if the fall season (only 3 months away)sees an uptick, that will shut things down. also player demands and social unhappiness likely to fuel even more issues.....chaos. no time to coach or game plan when distractions are coming at you at 100 mph.

the remote gig is not a good long term solution, no academic discipline or atmosphere for interaction and real learning..... fill inn the blank education, not so good.

the fact that it mutates (like regular flu) means that a very effective vaccine is harder to come by......just like the flu shot you get every year, some years they miss the strain by a mile.......more deaths follow.

could end up as a new variety of the flu, a different strain every year.....the flu kills thousands every year, not young kids so much, but from being passed on to the elderly and sick......it's the passing of the germ that never stops, but maybe with less serious side effects. much is not yet known.....many think this is still part of the first wave, which still needs to play out.

as it mutates it is more difficult to develop a vaccine that is effective.

getting new kids coached up in a compressed time frame will be a huge challenge. as you can see what little experience we have is being shuffled to deal with inexperience....less than ideal.

unfortunately, i agree. one or two major illnesses will change everything, are we living on borrowed time?

Faucci is a joke, he lost all credibility (early in the pandemic).. when he said masks are not affective, ....hell, any moron knew masks were a great aid, he just lied and was trying to save them for first responders, which was fine, but he didn't need to lie about it. so now i don't trust anything he says.......he is an opportunist at best. he is an adviser, not an expert. talk of conference only games now, maybe a 50/50 chance that games will be viewed by stadiums full of people revenue is the key here, so much money involved with CF.....social distancing even at a half filled stadium is nearly impossible. masks and hand sterilizer a minimum.....serving food and drinks accelerates the risk even more. no good answers here.

this kid has the pedigree to be special.....i think we see him play a lot.

asking a lot of Benhart as a freshman.....it's going to take awhile for him to be consistent, he is a big body, which is helpful.

great planning by Frost....experience next to youth, will help the new guys a bunch and create some more depth, especially for the last 5 games of the season.

enuf said, we must improve vastly in this area..........good teams have good ST's.

blocking has never been a glamorous job, few guys embrace it, but it is a valuable skill and extremely important. a lot of good pass catchers and route runners don't excel in it. locking

transfers are a new aspect of the sport.......don't like the coach, buried in the depth chart? just move on, simple now for the kids.

also, no black eye for Frost over this....transfers happen all the time....if it was a culture thing then even better now that he is gone. it has been a rough 3 years for Frost, lots of "weeding out" was done and still in progress....if that reduced his desire to focus and play here.....so be it. good luck JD.
