agree, we are up to our a$$ in alligators already........last 5 game stretch will be killer......early unexpected losses would be very hard to swallow....depth will be sooooo important, those last 5 games will be brutal, punishing schedule to say the least. injuries will be critical.

won't be too hard to guess who is infected, especially known starters who are suddenly missing from practices/games...for 2 weeks. Frost won't say anything either, other than certain guys are "not able to perform"/"under the weather".....you won't see them on the sidelines either, unlike like most guys who are on IR, these guys will be in quarantine.

i am still not convinced that Chin is the guy.......not by a long shot.

agree, NU better be at their best for every game......there are no easy games on our schedule, especially with our lack of experience.

i hope this qb deal doesn't turn in to a distraction...

depth will be important this season, as there is likely to be a list of unable to perform players weekly. i guess if cases have to be submitted to Lancaster county health dept. there won't be much discretion or HIPPA violations? will be interesting to see how this works.....helluvamess, unchartered waters.

the way i see it, he did not transition well between riley and frost. Scott appears to be a real no nonsense coach. seems to me JD started to think others left the team for good reasons and maybe he felt compromised as well. i really think someone got in his ear and thus he walked...... i think we are at or near the end of this shake-out with Frost as the HC. i don't think JD will benefit from his decision.....as most would agree, we are better off without him.....talent or no, if you don't want to be here, please exit and allow others a chance...and stop playing games on social media and face your decisions like a man.

i am really curious if any fan health safe guards will be put in place? bring your own mask, that's about it? concessions still allowed? anyone, thoughts?

kind of seems we are flooding the kicking room with bodies?.....what, a half dozen guys last season and that many again now? guess it is good to have lots of bodies when you choose.

i just don't see this happening.....you would have to quarantine the whole football team and coaches to keep the co vid from getting started....just too much contact on and off the field. as for the fans showing up at the stadium? nightmare!

that is probably not a good strategy----- in the short term for sure. many folks are cash strapped and not working, many will opt for the safety of home and saving money by watching from home. having to worry about finding a clean hotel/motel and eating out in a safe establishment.....assuming. the scheduled games even occur. uncertainty is still of concern.

i would guess not attending school would make all the players all ineligible, as not every class could be on line attendance. even the NFL will struggle......imagine every week someone will be on the unable to perform list with co void.

unfortunately, each state holds the Trump card, they decide....no pun intended. Even lowly mayors can throw their weight around, everyday is independence day, see it happen daily.
