  1. They're worth whatever people are willing to pay them and the evaluations are based on little more than a few tips and a lot of hunches.
  2. I will never not chuckle whenever I see this pick from when he was drafted with my friend Chris cheesing like a goof in the background
  3. Matt O'Hanlon is still the best open field tackler I've ever seen - watching him come down in run fits and never miss in one-on-one situations was pure art.
  4. Nice bump. I may or may not have an old post in here under an old name that isn't all that much of a secret, couldn't say! But I've gone through a very wide gamut of changes, most of them in the same window of time I've been on HB. Went from mainline to charismatic to neo-reformed calvinist to universalist all just within Christianity, left Christianity entirely but got more into Jesus than ever before, went from being apolitical to hard left regressive lib and back to apolitical, have flopped tune on most any hot button topic, etc.
  5. Under S.B. 474, survivors of rape and incest can only access care until 12 weeks of pregnancy and only if their physician reports the assault — and the survivor’s name — to law enforcement, regardless of the survivor’s wishes. that makes it much better
  6. For me it's just countering the never-ending delusion. We've had 6 losing seasons in a row, and even after as much humbling as you could possibly imagine we still have large swaths of the fanbase predicting 7-9 wins and looking down their nose at other programs. I don't give a s#!t if we're playing the Omaha School of the Deaf and Blind, the overwhelming majority of our losing in the last decade has been beating ourselves rather than the opposing team beating us, and we suck until we actually show that we don't. The reality is that we might not actually, but we don't know that yet.
  7. Not like we've never played down to our competition or beat ourselves before.
  8. Absolute evisceration brought with receipts and the only responses are, "Well you have to be nice!" and "OH WHAT A GUY HE WAS TALKING TO A DOG???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
  9. All I said was "Every school already has a B1G patch and pretty much always has. Kind of confused if you're predicting something other than 'things will continue as they have been normally' and I'm missing it?" I was asking you an honest question because I wasn't sure if I was understanding your post correctly. Your defensiveness is the only element that's aggressive here.
  10. ... you know that my post you quoted was me saying that Sims isn't that good?
  11. Yes, and this set of circumstances is something I realllllly hope we don't look back on in 4-6 years and remember as a terrible decision.
  12. I do remember the 2005 game well. The other example doesn't make clear who the fans were, but it'd be safe to assume that it was CSU fans since it was a field rushing scenario and they were the team that dominated and won. I've got no love for CU fans and that 2005 'eject the entire student section' incident is hilarious and pathetic, but the NU fanbase's folklore about how monstrous the weed smoking hippies in Boulder are has always been silly and overblown and barely more than urban legend to me.
  13. This is a lot of words just to say you were wrong and overblown in your initial comment. Slowly losing ground each year to the tune of being a missed field goal away from a natty in his most recent year
  14. Every school already has a B1G patch and pretty much always has. Kind of confused if you're predicting something other than 'things will continue as they have been normally' and I'm missing it?
  15. I guess the phrase 'takes one to know one' would apply toward any folks who were active Trump supporters and are currently hurling condescending pity towards those they believe to be supporting an unethical grifter.
  16. You give it five years, you're the one claiming he's Solich when his resume is significantly better. I'm looking at what he's done, you're interpreting it as a super secret hidden future failure, so I don't know why I'm the one that has to give it time and not you
  17. Okay now do all the times teams that weren't top championship level got hit with violations and then also do all the times that championship level teams haven't got hit with violations.
  18. Failing to maintain what position? The position they were in under Urban Meyer? Urban's win percentage was 90% - Day's is 89%. Urban had three losses to unranked teams, Day has had zero. Urban won the conference 42% of the time, Day has won it 50% of the time. Urban's average poll finish was 4.57, Day's is 3.5. Their recruiting is even better than it was under Urban. The only blemish is the two losses to Michigan's best two teams of the last 25 years. He's shown nothing other than being an elite coach thus far, and while some lifelong spoiled out of touch loud minority OSU fans might be grumbling, their AD isn't stupid and Day is just fine for now.
  19. Republican shills just can't help themselves mentioning and sharing mentions of democratic presidents taking vacations when the numbers actually just make them look even worse in comparison.
  20. No he isn't, at least not yet. His only losses so far are to • #2 Clemson in the playoff 23-29 • #1 Alabama in the national championship in covid year 24-52 • #12 Oregon 28-35 • #3 Michigan 27-42 • #3 Michigan 23-45 • #1 Georgia in the playoff 41-42 He's got wins over #3, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #11, #12, #18, #18 and #21 ranked teams.
  21. don't get me wrong, you're a very good troll
