Last weekend they lost 2 to Texas. No surprise here as we just aren't in the same league as Texas with them having Cat O. as their pitcher. Although, Texas pitched their lesser pitcher the 2nd game and we scored some runs and could of won, but errors cost the game. Bad luck as that happens some times. But last night, we only got one hit against Creighton, what is going on? Everyones batting averages have been heading down the last several weeks after we stopped playing the creampuffs we played early in the year. Playing such a weak schedule early in the year looks to have caught up with us. In an earlier posting I called our schedule a "Creighton like early season schedule". Looks like we have dropped to be on a par with Creighon, sad!! Come on Coach Revelle, get this team going! After this season, you lose 4 seniors that are 4 of your 5 top hitters. It's this year we need to go far as next year is going to be a down year!

What's up with this years softball team? Typically they play a tough early season schedule but this year it is full of fluff teams and now they are even losing to them!! Next week they really play some fluff teams in the Husker "Classic". There record looks better than it is. They will never be ready for the Big 12 unless they start playing a lot better!! They have a great senior class. 4 seniors that are carrying the team but looking looking at what it behind them is scarry as recruiting looks to have dropped off. You gotta wonder if Revelle is more interested in Adminstration with her new Assistant AD job, Sipple is more focused on the Canada National team and Jen Ogee on being a mom??? Not that those are bad things to care about...but it can sure hurt the team.
