I hope i’m wrong but i seee deion having more success than rhule. Not sure if he was an option for us or not, but all i read about is the great talent going to the buffaloes I think we blew it w our coaching decision but hopefully i’m wrong

I’m just happy to know next year i’ll actually be excited to see how we do. And since you can’t really start judging a new coach until he has some time to implement his changes we got hope for at least 2-3 seasons. Hopefully by then that hope gets a little bigger and we’re trying to win the west. Fingers crossed. Good luck to the new coach

There’s really no need to debate who the coach should be. Whether you wanted someone else or not. Rhule is the guy now and i hope he does what he’s hoping to do and turn the program around.

Whoever it is can’t do much worse than what we have. I don’t feel excited or not excited for rhule. Any change at this point brings hope. I was hoping for deion, simply because he can get recruits. Nobody else took the #1 recruit from saban to play in a league that drastically reduces your chances of the nfl. But that could be a bust too and we’d look like we’re just chasing big names anymore

What scares me is that rhule thought baker mayfield was a good nfl qb

I’m guessing iowa comes out looking to run the ball in the 2nd half. No reason for them to abandon the run game. Stop w the penalties and turnovers and force nebraska to play disciplined football. See if you can make them quit. My guess anyway, not saying it will or will not work

Still another half to play. Iowa is gonna come out with more inspiration in the second half. Not turning the ball over will be a key to the 2nd half. Not letting iowa get momentum. We have nothing to play for other than pride. I wouldn’t be surprised if iowa makes it a game

Espn is reporting rhule is getting hired. Who knows where or what sources they have but we’ll see

I see i’m not the only one more interested in the world cup game instead. Even if we lose to england so long as we beat iran we have a great chance of moving on. Go USA

Some see it as dumpster fire to coach this team. Any coach who gets an offer is going to see $ and a fan base w no expectations (we have expectations but the bar is so low we practically don’t have them anymore). I hope we get deion. I didn’t think he’d leave the hbc football league but he said he’d be a fool not to consider a big name school. He’s already wanting to rebuild a program, and he gets recruits. No idea if it happens, probably not, but it’d be foolish not to try imo

I know why he was fired. I never agreed with it. These are grown men, not little kids. We were a good program under him. We got nice guy riley though, and been a joke since

When he took the job a lot of ppl thought psu was going to get the death penalty. For him to say he didn’t sign on for the sanctions was absolute bs. He took a better job, don’t blame him. But he convinced kids to stay and play for psu then walked out on them. Obriens lions….

Everybody in the nation knew, i agree. O’brien sat there in a press conference and claimed he had no idea sanctions were coming….why i don’t want him at nebraska. Man has no class, no loyalty and sucks as a coach. You do remember him claiming he didn’t know they would get sanctioned?
