This is a very ignorant comment. NO ONE is to blame for this other than the idiot who called Coz himself. You are so hell bent on blaming everything on Callahan. People are such idiots about blaming Callahan for everything. Sure he deserves some blame for on the field stuff, but I've heard people blame him for taking the pictures down of past all-americans. WRONG! That was Pedey. I've heard people say Callahans the one who distanced the program from the past players. WRONG! That was Pedey as well. And now you blame Callahan for these death threats on Coz???!!!! HOW CAN YOU BLAME THIS ON CALLAHAN! Because he gave the guy a job and wanted to stick by him until at least the end of the season. This is probably THE MOST ignorant comment I have ever seen! I almost don't believe it's just the coaches bringing this program down, it's us fans that are pouring gasoline on this flaming jet while it's plummetting to the ground. This is just laughable to try to pin something else to Callahan!!! Well I was going to blow a gasket on this post but you pretty much said it all right there. Oh and Bulldonzer when you post something like this blaming someone who had ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with a death threat it normally has the opposite effect that you wanted.

I hope you are right. But I don't know how fast the court is going to be willing to admit that its own officers did not arrest both men in the attack if found they where both at fault. The fact that the cops only arrest MO is gonna hurt him no matter what. I am still surprised that Cally had not made a descent statement concerning this situation. All we have heard from him is stiff arm "coach talk". I'd sure like to hear some concrete stuff rather then the gibberish we are getting on the boards. As much as I appreciate the fact that this young lady came forward to tell her side of the story I don't know how much good it is going to do. Anyone know what their projected pre-season ranking will be. If memory serves they where right around us. Cally really needs a win against a ranked opponent to kick of the year. I just hope Cally does not pull out all the stops on WF and does not leave any tricks for USC.

In my humble opinion, Chase Daniels is almost as over rated as Brady Quinn . I believe he is a tremendous prospect and has alot to offer an NFL team that has the right components to let him work some magic. Here lies the problem ... Missouri does not have "all the right components" to give Chase Daniels the oporitunity to do the things he can. In response to AR Huskers question, their O-Line at Missouri is nothing I would say past average. They return 3 staraters and they have alot of injury. But that is not the real problem with Missouri. The biggest thorn in their side is the lack of the running game. If you can't run the ball then you can not keep the defense honest ... plain and simple. The Missouri running game is a 4 at best on a 10 scale. Chase Daniels might be a great QB but if Missouri is this cocky going into the 2007 season they are gonna have a rude awaikening when they play us.

As many of you have said before "This happens at every college town...". If the report is true I think he is an idiot for putting his career in jeopardy. I do on the other hand (and I don't agree with it) this is becoming more and more of a trend in all college sports. Don't forget about what happend to the Miami - Florida Atlantic players . I mean one of them tried to kill the other with a helmet and got charged with assault. This was all on national TV with millions of viewers. Those players were only suspended? The NCAA had video evidence there. Mopure is a great wide reciever and a talented NFL prospect but as many of you know sometimes when you are up on "Cloud 9" You need something/someone to kick you in the junk to remind you that you still have to watch what you do. I am gonna expect the worse and hope for the best. .........I hate to say this husker nation but it would not surprise me if Cally made an example here.

... i mean they dont call Memorial Stadium the Tar Pit do they? Nope, there is a reason its called the "Sea of Red" ... and it is quite a sight to see at that. Yes I understand that we have the blackshirts but the last thing I want to do is run around in a color that is not part of my school's uniform.

As far as the team goes I wish B-Jack had stayed with the team for another year. But for him personaly he made the right decision. I wish him the best of luck in Green Bay. It is awsome to see a legendary Husker running back being replaced by another Husker. I am sure he will do great things.

Welcome to the board Fan4USC, hope to have some riveting discussing with you and the upcoming season. Well, you are definetly in for a treat, Husker game day in Lincoln is not something you can really you can put into words. Especially if you are use to USC "laid back" atmosphere because Lincoln Nebraska on a fall Saturday is anything but "laid back". In my opinion the best place to stay is the Embassy Suites Hotel off of P st. It is within walking distance of the stadium and normally have events going on the night prior to the game. The rooms do fill up fast though for gameday so I would not wait. They are a definate treat. For pre-game "prime up" Barry's or the N-Zone is always good ... You probably will get razed a little for wear USC colors but our fans SHOULD welcome you nicely. I would hate to think the Husker Nation would degrade itself by acting inappropriatly to any opponent. Unless they come from a state that begins with the letter C and enjoy throwing biowaste on other people. I know that alot of Huskers are looking forward to this game more then any other this year so you should be in good company anywhere around Memorial Stadium. $300 -$500 a ticket? I personally have never paid that much at Memorial Stadium for a ticket. But this is prime time game so I would not count it out. Most games you can get a ticket from a scalper outside for a good price. I would not try that method for this game because the tickets will not be easy to come by. MODs correct me if I am worng but I am pritty sure ESPN College Gameday will be there outside the East gate. I am sure good ole' Herbstreit :asshat will be telling the entire nation how the Nebraska teams of the 90s sucked and how great USC is, and blah blah blah. All I know is if he had that kind of spring game in Lincoln, he would be stuck behind Beau Davis in the lineup.

I have no doubt that Grant will turn that 54 game loosing streak that they have and turn it into a better more disciplined team. Those kids are lucky to have such a talented and prestigious assistant coach. Good luck to Grant and his future team.

Sun Tzu say... you would expect to see a bird fly and you would expect to see a fish swim it is in their nature Therefore you can also expect a good general to have concern for the health of his troops, it is in their nature. I can't think of a QB that would not be concerned if one of his starting human meat shields went down. It is good to see that he takes a pro-active roll in the offensive line's condition but in my opinion behavior like that is should already be expected of him if he is to lead the Huskers into 2007.

The biggest diffrence I saw between that two was Beck was all about ME ME ME ME ME. And when he didn't get what he wanted he ran behind moma's dress and let her assault the Husker nation with her purse. Luckly we had Sam Keller there to throw a cup at her to fend her off. Daily however did give it his all and dispite all the garbage that the husker nation dumped on him he took it all in stride and gave it his all. I think Eric the Red hit it right on the head. He was just not recruited properly for either system. I wish him the best of luck at reciever.
