Gameday said Rhule is joining them later to talk about his move back to college coaching. Seems like a pretty done deal.

If what you're hearing is that they've been putting the finishing touches on the Rhule contract, then what you're hearing is probably true.

I don’t know, we’re talking about the feelings of Mickey plus a handful of guys. If this is big boy football, not sure I’d sacrifice the upside of an early announcement for the entire program to protect the feels of a few guys.

In my defense, he did look like Urban.

I was sitting at a bar at a steakhouse Friday night and (admittedly after a couple/few martinis) looked across the bar and swore I saw Urban Meyer. Said to my wife, "Holy s#!t that's Urban Meyer." Door opens: "Hey, Matt, what size smock do you wea....oh s#!t...we've been spotted by a birthday party...abort...abort....retreat." Seems legit.

Really, I thought Rhule was still signed, sealed and delivered. Did I miss something? I kind of quit keeping up after Deion sheepishly told his team he didn't talk to anyone from Nebraska.

Could be. Wonder who was scheduled to visit? Seems odd the new guy would take one look at the list and say, "nah I don't want any of these spares...tell them all not to waste their time coming here for a visit"
