Question do coaches ever visit the school before they agree to a contract? I know when recruits commit without visiting its unusual they don't atleast visit once was wondering if it's the same kind of deal for coaches?
Sure but I wouldn't think it's a huge assumption. For example Donte Williams was the interim HC at USC and he stayed on. Coleman came aboard and none of Mickeys other recruits have left.
When Rhule came to Baylor he hired a high school HC who's now the Texas Tech HC & the president of Texas High School to win in state recruits. Mickey would be the same kind of thing at Nebraska.
BTW during his time at Baylor while he might not have beaten a ranked team despite being a few years removed from one of the biggest scandals in college sports he did beat plenty of teams with winning records. To look at current day Nebraska and pretend we are above that is laughable.
He won 10 games 3X seasons, sent guys to the NFL, won bowl games, made it to the Sugar Bowl, and devleoped players all while doing it and BTW he has beaten ranked teams at Temple. I guess Nebraska is too good for that. What is this? 2003 again?
Like legit or is this more silly hyvee stuff? I've read recruits talking about RPO which is what he runs and considering how he hired Texas HS coaches to have a leg up on in state recruiting it would make a ton of sense for him to keep Mickey.
