  1. Fred and Co. have done a great job. Two seasons back it looked bleak... now he's entering Tim Miles/Danny Nee/Harry Good territory! THAT EVER-RARE TOURNEY BID!!
  2. We goin’ to the tourney baby!! Hell yes!
  3. Fred's done a great job sticking with the hot hand this year, but running plays for Keisei late, when it's Lawrence who was their best guard tonight, doesn't make much sense. Williams' foul trouble really hurt them too... I don't think most of the calls against him were bad, either. He needs to stay on the court for this team to do anything in March.
  4. I really like the idea of playing one of those MWC teams first round... outside of SDSU, other teams were all one and done last year, I believe.
  5. Uneven scheduling and a poorly-performing out of conference Big Ten are hurting N here. Going to spend a lot of time rooting against everybody else on the bubble these next few weeks- good news on Texas A&M last night, bad on Pitt... it's unfortunate, but with even more teams next year, who you draw in conference and the metrics are going to determine the 68. (Take it outta their hands though and go 6-0, Huskers!!!!!!)
  6. Slow defensive rotations, poor energy (Mast & Williams!!), great shooting by NW... and yes, another road loss. Need a PG, starting Williams there doesn't seem like the answer. (The other broken record, offensive rebounding, too...)
  7. Is Ochoa a walk-on? Not seeing him listed anywhere, schollie-wise...
  8. It's interesting that Williams from Rutgers is able to play now, while Ulis still sits. Don't know, for continuity purposes, if it's not better for Nebraska at this point anyway (if Rutgers wasn't having an awful season, prob. would've let Williams sit... though he could have eligibility issues). Need a good showing these next 2 games. (I'll be in the stands reppin' red at NW.)
  9. Fong pick in for... N
  10. https://www.on3.com/teams/nebraska-cornhuskers/news/huskeronline-nebraska-football-scholarship-distribution-chart/ A lot of guys on here who will be preferred walk-ons next year, it appears? (Koch, Ruggeroli, Taylor, etc...) And guys who prob. won't be back (IGC & Piper, for two). But yeah the scholarship # stuff is fascinating these days...
  11. 2 days, 2 Baltimore St. Frances grads. Hill & Koch are MD guys too.
  12. Started 11 outta 12 games at Florida last year. Big get!!!
  13. First win over #1 since 1982- so surreal! Would’ve swore one of those Kansas teams we beat were #1, during the Nee days/my time in school. The D made all the difference- love Williams’ stat line! Game balls to all! (Including Trev for his faith in Fred!)
  14. Game ball to Mast... no idea how a guy returns that quickly from a knee surgery. Great game last night!!!!
  15. Lovin' all the in-state offers! (And to another legacy!)
  16. 6th leading tackler for 'Cuse (52), started 20 career games there- most of them while White was coaching.
  17. On3 saying Stefon Thompson, LB from Syracuse, visiting as well: https://cuse.com/sports/football/roster/Stefon-Thompson/22259
  18. It's a double 'Those No Longer With Us' post... 'Svoboda then moved the Cowboys quickly down the field — with the help of an unnecessary roughness penalty on Ronald Delancy III...'
  19. Yes... if only they could have foreseen Mast's injury...
  20. I want the big Husker boombox he's holding in his signing day pic! Where can we get one of those?!!!
  21. You're right on Mathison, 10th round pick. And really it's coaching style that's the measure here- of course we didn't put a lot of option QBs in the NFL...! Tanner Lee was our last QB drafted. And Rhule coached PJ Walker, a 4 year starter at Temple. He's still in the league- my Bears cut him and then he beat the 49ers. I understand the argument- not a lot of great recent history here- but it's a new regime. Raiola knows this.
  22. That may be true but it's more of the point of... how many scholarship guys did we have last year? As in NIL guys & real schollies? And the Ruggeroli addition... it's an interesting time for college sports.
