Nope, if you had asked me in June 2011 that, by the end of year 5, we would still have no conference championships and only 2 regional appearances with only 1 win over 4-seed Binghamton I would tell you that it probably would have been better for Tom Osborne to hire one of the "major conference coaches" he claimed were asking him for the job.

Arguably, Nebraska should not ever be picked to finish in the bottom of the Big 10 in baseball to begin with and beating low expectations in a year that saw the conference dip precipitously in quality compared to last year is not entirely worth celebrating. But there are some good players returning, and it only takes one or two good transfers/recruits to fill some voids.
