  1. Waka Flocka? Is that a Sesame Street character or something?
  2. from a dorm room to a penthouse... The Penthouse penthouse? That's like the Playboy Mansion, but for Penthouse magazine. I heard you can pee on the floor there.
  3. you're actually suppose to keep the sticker on
  4. Let's see here.... Tickets to see Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, Hatebreed, and Rev Theory in October? That's a win!
  5. Because you broke HuskerBoard. Where were you on Wednesday? We now have a primary suspect in our last outage. GET HIM!!
  6. Knapplc, I don't think that's Bo in that picture. That guy is smiling, not screaming and trying to kill a referee
  7. Hmmmmm..... Lack of balance was the hallmark of some of our greatest teams. Balance for the sake of balance is overrated. Effectiveness >>>>>> Balance Well I wasn't making a case that we NEED to be balanced. I could care less about balance as long as we're moving the ball and scoring points. However, they need to at least be COMPETENT passers. Should a situation arise where we NEED to throw the ball and we're not able to, then an extreme unbalance can bite you right in your ass. EDIT: Also, it's not like we didn't already know that our QB's, for the most part, are better runners than passers. And we already knew that Bo wanted to go to a predominantly run-oriented offense. It was more of "thank you Captain Obvious" to DiNardo.
  8. We recently had a new liquor store open up in town, and they have the "make your own six pack" deal, so I imagine I'll be bumping this thread fairly regularly Pretty light, nice smooth creamy taste. Nothing to write home about, but I could drink a few. I kinda freaked out when I opened and poured this one. The smell was beyond fruity. The color was sooooo freaking dark purple. But it wasn't really that sweet. Actually turned out to be something I wouldn't mind drinking on a hot summer afternoon. Plus its got 8% ABV! I nearly creamed my pants when I saw this in the cooler. It's kinda pricey (I paid $11 for a 4 pack). Totally worth it though. I used to drink it a lot when I lived in Phoenix because we actually had stores that sold good stuff. I'd give it a go, and if you absolutely hate it, send me the bill and any remaining bottles!! I've got a few more to try tomorrow. Might have to make another beer run too!!
  9. I +1'ed your post so hard I broke my finger. I'm off to the "Fall Camp Injuries Thread" to post an update.....
  10. I don't care if it's just preseason, I'm excited to see some freaking football tongiht!!

  16. My favorite one is towards the top: I bet it was Husker Jen. She just starting tearing things apart with her "man hands"
  17. I usually go over to Ft Collins when TCU is playing Colorado State. They serve beer there (and Runza) but they close the beer tents at halftime or at the end of the 3rd quarter.
  18. Last game I went to was the Oklahoma game in 09. Spent the afternoon at the bar. Met my friend's cousin and his girlfriend's family in the Champions Club or whatever. They gave us a bottle of Crown, so we poured it into a couple empty Aquafina bottles. Stick it down the front of your pants and walk right through the door. Bought a couple of Pepsi's. It was all gone by the first couple minutes of the 2nd quarter. Went back out at halftime and drank a few more beers, couple shots, etc. I still remember the whole game too.
  19. What is the difference between that and an Arnold palmer? Arnold Palmer doesn't have booze
  20. I had to bump this because there was mention of the "defense wins championships" mantra in another thread. In this "Scorecasting" book, they break down how it's not entirely true that defense wins championships. It's basically pretty even between top-notch offenses winning titles and top-notch defenses winning titles. So they are both even valued. I thought that was interesting considering we have defensive guru as a head coach here at DONU.
