  1. It's some of both and mostly it's not the playcalling that is the biggest issue, but you can only watch a team run a QB draw on 3rd and 11 against a 9 man front so many times without going wtf?
  2. His longest pass was 76 yards to Reggie Baul against Oklahoma State in 95. His longest touchdown pass was 60 yards to Corey Dixon against Colorado in 1993.
  3. He absolutely did. Ameer caught one pass his entire freshman year and ran for a total of 150 yards. Ameer was a great kickoff return specialist his freshman year, that's about it. Wandale looks like he could have the best freshman season for a skill position player at Nebraska since Ahman Green.
  4. People care about ESPN Gameday? what is this 2003?
  5. I mean sure but 4 of those were At Michigan, At Wisconsin, At Iowa and At Ohio State. The only "bad losses" were at Colorado and at Northwestern, both losses went to OT where we lost by a field goal.
  6. Can I just say, the edits this year are fire. BIG props for the graphics guys this season. Steppin the game up.
  7. The best thing you can say about Minnesota this weekend is at least they aren't Purdue.
  8. They play like they did tonight on the road next week and Fresno State will destroy them.
  9. Rain will be fine. The humidity is gonna suck though.
  10. I care about what is right, not about how it looks. You either sit him till his case is resolved or you play him. IMO until it is determined he even is accused of something that is actually illegal or not he should be allowed to play. Besides if you care about optics, sitting him against So. Alabama and then playing him against Colorado would look worse. We arent just talking one game here.
  11. Which is why you play him until something changes.
  12. Generally I'd agree but it seems to me in this case there is a lot of question on even if he did everything they say he did, whether he even committed a crime at all let alone a felony. This is a test case for that entire law.
  13. Unless Haggerty is fully healthy all season I don't think Wisconsin wins this. Rettke is a monster in the middle but Duello and Loberg aren't strong enough on the pins to win the conference. I'd flip Wisconsin and Minnesota and give Nebraska a good shot to steal it.
  14. I like it, it looks good on mobile too unlike the last one. The only problem I have with it is that you can't jump right to sub pages with a google search. not that big of a deal though.
  15. Miller and Duval look like a before and after of what happens when you hit your 30's
  16. I don't think we take that many, also we will probably end up way heavier on D this class. There are 12 scholarship defensive seniors (8 on 2 deep) and only 6 offensive scholarship seniors (just 2 on 2 deep) this year. Also, we loaded up offense on last year. (16 on O to 11 on D last class) 8 of those defensive seniors are in the back 7 so we need extra DB's and lots of LB's to go with 2 if not 3 more DL. Our luxury pick on offense was either a 4th WR or a 2nd RB and they went RB.
  17. We could but it would be tight. We already have 10 commits and have 2 RB and this would make 3 WR. We still need a TE 2 DE's 2 LB 3 DB's and an OL for sure. That puts us at 20. We're probably only taking 22 this class so if we take another WR on top of Manning that means we are either not taking an extra LB or we are sticking with only one more OL recruit in the class. Edit. That should have been one more OL not just one OL.
  18. Never forget the Corn Coast offense.
  19. Nebraska's secondary allowed opponents a 57.11% completion percentage last year. While not great thats a top 40 ranking despite a front 7 providing virtually zero pass rush. Minnesota meanwhile, allowed opponents a 64.79% completion percentage. 117th worst in the nation. And before you bring up the Gophers change at DC... Over the final 3 games of the season Nebraska's secondary improved to a sparkling 45.74% cpa which puts them at #4 in the country over that span while Minnesota's cpa barely dipped at all, improving to just 63.64 - still well outside the top 100. Minnesota's secondary isn't even in the same ballpark as Nebraska's.
  20. On topic does Randy Gregory count? He didn't declare for the draft until after Riley was hired so???
  21. It stopped the clock with 55 seconds left and Illinois had no timeouts. If you don't stop the clock you can run the entire play clock down on 4th down and essentially no matter what you do Illinois has at best has a couple seconds 70+ yards from their endzone to maybe run one play, though since the failed pass to Janovich on 4th down took 10 seconds off the clock there is a good chance the game ends on that 4th down play. Keeping the clock running, using the entire playclock and taking a 5 yard delay of game penalty also means you can kick a 32 yard field goal and if there's any time left the game ends on a squib kick.
  22. I'm not saying he will. It's very unlikely unless he's just too good to not play. Which isn't impossible, expecially considering he may be the best backup we have for Warner seeing how little production we've seen from Mike Williams He's still almost guaranteed to be much better off redshirting and having 2 years at QB once Martinez is gone no matter how good he may be at wideout. That doesn't change the fact that that decision has absolutely nothing to do with Washington's status or something going horribly wrong elsewhere on the roster which are the assertions you made. Furthermore neither you, I nor the origional post said anything about him playing more than 4 games this season. In fact the OP specifically stated such a scenerio where that would likely not be the case as they specifically mentioned the final four games of the season. Again I didn't say McCaffrey would see the field this year, only the two reasons you gave against it were wrong. And in the case of Washington's status playing a part incredibly so, for the reason I gave and you quoted.
  23. This really isn't that difficult. You are wrong.
