  1. Who knows. I hope the kid after fighting getting into college is getting a real degree and not majoring in liberal arts or painting. The coach makes millions to make decisions. I doubt he is holding heard back.

I take offense to this post. Art degrees are very important. Look around you, everything you see has had some sort of art degree involved.

  2. OK so me and my wife were talking about this and I Need to write it down so I don't forget it. Here are a couple games that would really help us long term in the BSC.

    Alabama over LSU

    Hawaii over Boise St.

    Utah over TCU

Bama could drop a game later in their schedule, LSU probably won't.

Besides Nevada, this is Boise St's last tough game.

Utah could conceivably lose to Notre dame or BYU, TCU will coast after this weekend.

    My wife and I...

Sorry I'm 4th grade teacher and it's a habit. :thumbs

  3. :yeah Them greedy B@stards!!! I am sure even if NU is considered to have a fast start ESPN would still ignore us and not put us on the list :espnsucks:

Nebraska is on their list. Talks about how Reeves and Moore are 2 of the top lineman in the country and that Turner is a "do it all athlete" that could end up at any position.

  4. It's going to be announced on Monday. I can't wait to see Tyler Moore with :star:star:star:star:star

12:54 Jeremy Crabtree: Carlos: We'll have the rivals250 for 2011 on Monday of next week.

Since he's already committed and didn't have a ton of offers, he'll likely be a 4 star. Need those 5 stars to be uncommitted or going to schools with large populations of fans to drive up subscriptions.

    Not true. See Baker Steinkuhler.

Well Baker did start out as a 4 star so who knows. :dunno

Anyway who else do you guys think will be on the list?

Some of the offers handed out for the 2011 who should make the list Aaron Green, James Turner, Christain Westerman but he is a USC fan Ryne Reeves, Alex Dixon DB Florida, Brodrick Lee DT Florida, to name a few There's a Colorado kid his name escapes me he's high on N

Is the Colorado kid you are thinking of Adonis Amien Moore from Mullen HS? He is a RB and a stud at that. Have watched him since he was a sophomore. They also have a WR who is pretty good, the name slips me but he is Brandon Marshall's nephew.

  5. huskerals with you covering CU hs football, what is up with one kid, last I looked, commiting to CU who is from colorado? seems strange to me. does hawkins have that bad a relationship with the CO hs coaching community?

Well I'm not sure if it's that Hawkins has a bad relationship with the coaches, or that not many people in general support him out here. But I'd guess the later. Whether it is on the talk radio, or in the local magazines/newspaper, most people don't know why he was retained other than the money aspect. With such instability and lack of support for their program, if I was 18 I wouldn't want to go into such a negative atmosphere.

Also, and this is just my opinion, but with so many transplant families/people in Colorado, kids grow up rooting for whoever is best, or for the team where ever they moved from, and just don't care to root for CU. I rarely see kids wearing CU hats, shirts etc...and see more texas, usc, nebraska, florida...

Also Colorado State in a growing program in a growing conference, they not only have more CO kids committed (granted it's 2 to 1), but they have a better coach.

It's pretty telling when a kid who played his High School Football in Boulder down the street from CU, isn't interested in going to CU i think. Kenny Bell.

  6. Living in Denver and covering some High School football for Mile High Sports magazine I've seen this kid play a few times. He is a playmaker, not as a QB though. He can't throw the ball all that well but can definitely make plays. He's quick and shifty, and if you ask me he is better than Donny Spond a 4* ATH/QB out of Columbine HS that some of you were interested in after he decommited from Colorado. Would be great get as a slot guy, maybe a returner.

  7. Chase Rome, Jay Guy, and Jamarcus Hardrick...Is that all? No one with any informtaion out there? That's a good start, althought I wish Heard, or another one of the offensive players would be there for spring ball. we could use their help!

those three is all. wish Lavonte would have made it but he will be here in the summer.

Thanks EZ-E. I wish he could have made it as well, but it's great to have Hardrick there to improve our poor O-line.
