  1. Thanks for the info, Crewe, but you were starting to wander into TuffTiger territory a couple times there.
  2. While Jamal has some shiftiness to him and can make guys miss, both Enunwa and Bell are more productive. Why would we put Turner in ahead of either?
  3. What's going on with JP and a booster? And the announcer were even worse than last week's Fox crew.
  4. Except that the game is on a competing network. That just helps out Fox.
  5. That's fine. Can even talk to him in passing. But nothing beyond that. If in doubt, contact the athletic department.
  6. It's the exact same time as a 6:30 kickoff in Lincoln.
  7. And kickoff is in the evening/late afternoon. It's not like a late night or early morning game.
  8. As you may know, Sagarin's rankings are based a mathematical network of the teams and which other teams they've played. Until enough games have been played, the results are meaningless.
  9. USM got 108 yards and 3 points in the 2nd half. That means 152 yards and 17 points in the 1st half.
  10. As has been said by many recruits over the years, deciding on a school usually has very little to do with whether they won or lost during visits or in head-to-head matchups.
  11. Recent article says that Turner needed to not move for the play to be legal. So, actually a heady play by the wideouts.
  12. Unless the Bruin defense improves dramatically, Huskers are going to score a whole lot. I'm guessing by a score of 55-21.
  13. PSU might have lost even if Paterno was still on the sidelines. PSU was pretty suspect last year.
  14. This was brought up in the "UCLA..." thread, and I mentioned that I agree with this writer. Did anyone else watch the UCLA game? Rice is probably the worst team in D1 football, or at least is in the running for worst. That's who UCLA played, and UCLA looked mediocre. Rice was moving the ball well on UCLA until Rice's starting QB got hurt in the 2nd quarter. That's a bad sign for UCLA. Now it's just one game, and the first game under Mora at that, but NU might score 70 on UCLA if the teams play like they did.
  15. Game is on BTN replay today as well.
  16. The team gave up 20 points, but the defense only gave up 13. It's one of the reasons I'm not as concerned about the D as some posters are.
  17. Yeah, I hate it when the defense only gives up 13 points and 260 yards. Out of curiosity, what team do you root for?
  18. Taylor's 26-34 says hello. That's 74.5% for those of you keeping score at home. Now the question obviously is: can he maintain that over the course of the season? I think if he stays the course and continues to work on and perfect his footwork and mechanics then I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why Taylor can't be a 70% passer this season. FYI: 26 of 34 is 76.5%
  19. Man, Husker fans are hard to please. D made good halftime adjustments and only gave up 13 points the whole game. Offense rolled all day without our best player. Things are looking good. On another note, if UCLA doesn't get a lot better on defense, NU is going to score 70 on them.
  20. Alright, I'm putting away the computer - I can't watch the Huskers and post. Unless we're comfortably ahead, then I'll be back. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
  21. That PSU team has a lot of quit in them.
  22. your kool-aid glass is currently at 50% capacity? At least his glass isn't empty.
  23. Yep. There's also a thread in the Big Ten forum on the game.
  24. Looking good for the Bobcats. I think PSU will fold like a cheap suit if Ohio sticks in another TD.
  25. I'm rooting for Ohio in this one. But Solich's offense needs to seriously pick it up if they want a chance to win.
