If Satterfield is allowed to stay this offseason, one more season of his incompetence is all that will be necessary to kill Rhule's tenure. Things move quick in recruiting thanks to the portal, and reputations are easy to obtain and difficult to overcome. Also, when just about *everyone* is saying the same thing re: Satterfield, and the same criticisms levied against him at South Carolina have followed him to Lincoln...it's not a coincidence. Cut bait and find a new OC (and WR coach, and maybe O-Line coach) to breathe life into this offense...preferably one that knows how to teach ball security. But the real question is, do we use the term Sattergrove or Cosfield until Satterfield (and/or Rhule) are replaced?

It's rich that the same people complaining about $6.99/mo for Peacock to watch Nebraska football and basketball want us to go back to the Big XII...where we had to pay $39.99 per game to Fox Sports PPV *AT LEAST* once per season to watch Nebraska play Kansas State, Iowa State, Kansas, Baylor, Texas Tech, or Okie Lite.

It was *never* a question of ability, but whether both parties wanted to. Oklahoma already had Texass, ATM University, and an upstart Okie Lite to deal with, they didn't want (at the time) to face another potential Top 25 team regularly unless they had to. Now, in the SEC, the Top 25 teams are just gonna be back to back to back to back to back to back...

We learned that our third string QB isn’t a viable option for the field, otherwise we’d see Sims in Wildcat (assuming our OC has base level competence). Think about it—they’ll only put Sims in for a Wildcat play or three if they actually had another QB option. We don’t, so no Wildcat. We learned if we go bowling it will be because of our defense. Love the playcalling and we need more of that type of playcalling on offense. Calling draw plays in a spread set on third down isn’t gonna fool anyone when you haven’t thrown for s*** all day. Our OC doesn’t know how to involve our TEs in the passing game—they’re supposedly our best hands but they only get 2-4 balls their way. They should be getting 12-15 attempts per game, minimum. Screens, short out routes, flat routes toward the sideline instead of the middle. I’m glad we won, and bowling is legitimately possible. The question is, do we have *any* offense to help take us there?
