  1. Lee not the running type.................he is rediculous fast, like 4.5, 4.6 40 time. http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...661&sport=1 Funny. All I've heard about is his arm. Well, maybe we can keep it a secret. Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone else. LOL

  3. I think it could be an option next year. Ganz has the speed, and Lee could step in on situational downs ala Tim Tebow. Not that i want to see a purely option based offense agian, but it would be nice to see it every now and then. I think there is still a place for it in college football and could possibly could catch teams off gaurd, especially if you pass from it.
  4. What did everyone think of that pathetic attempt at running the option on saturday? I was going crazy. It was a good attempt at humor by Callahan, giving the crowd a little taste of the past. It was pretty funny to watch, i mean the running back was no where to be seen to even catch the pitch had Ganz even wanted to pitch it. Obviously they don't practice that play much. LOL
  5. I haven't seen the new one yet and don't plan on it till i go to the ISU game, but my view is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I hope everyone here is exaggerating on how bad it really is.
  6. Rome said he is supposed to be up at the bottom of the 12 o'clock hour.
  7. They look like Ronald McDonald. They kind of put themselves in a hole about 100 yrs ago when they chose their school colors. In no way can you make mustard yellow and ketchup red look good together.........except for maybe on a hotdog or hamburger.
  8. The saddest part of ISU losing that game is they only lost by 9. It could have been and should have been a 30 pt beat down. Kent State turned the ball over 3 times on the goal line. Two fumbles inside 6 yards and an interception from the 9. ISUcks, I wonder if Cyclown Clyde still thinks Bret Myer will be all big 12. The guy can't even get over on a middle of the pack MAAC team. What a joke, the big 12 should drop those clowns and pick up someone else. They are a black eye on our conference, probably worse than Baylor is at this point.
  9. The backup may be fine at blocking and have all of the other skills. But.......and it is a HUGE but, if i were USC i would be worried about the hand off between the center and the QB. That can take tons of practice to get used to a way the center gives you the ball. Granted they have 2+ weeks to work on it, but still there is the chance of some slip ups that could lead to turnovers in unfortunate situations.
  10. Mark my words, "Gameday WILL be in Lincoln Sept 15th". 1. ESPN's love child USC will be playing, they would do gameday at a USC game every week if they could. 2. Its a night game, and ESPN always tries to get it where Herbstreit can call the game, so since its on abc he will be doing that game. 3. The other games that day just don't carry as much weight as this one (if we are both unbeaten). P.S. Looking ahead a little bit, but i think gameday will be at the NU vs. OU game next year in Norman. I've already been planning my trip to go and it looks like we both have favorable schedules and would look to be 8-0. GBR!
  11. I think Mark May is actually trying to help us. All he is doing is fueling our fire. Every time he makes an off the wall statement about us, he just infuriates(sp) us more. Hopefully the players are more furious than we are. I hope Suh's goal is to decapitate Booty. I think we are going to have a great chance to upset USC. Everyone is annointing them as the greatest ever, and I dont think they are going to be pumped up for this game as much as we will.
  12. The sad part about Bret Myer is, as good as he is, imagine what he could have done with more than just one receiver and some sort of offensive line. Unfortunately I think because of the poor coaching and athleticism around him that will hurt him in the draft, if he even gets drafted. As much as I hate to say it and out myself, I graduated from tISU, however have been a husker since conception. If tISU ever wants to get better they have to get a better o-line. They have all upper classmen on the line this year and people are still quivering in fear of how bad they are going to be.
  13. In all fairness I think we should lay off Cyclown Clyde. He obviously is a seasonal fan that wanted to get some of us riled up. He tried to crack on our QB for not being a seasoned vet, he obviously had no idea that Keller came from the Pac-10 where he was a starter. Also he tried to crack on us for being "duct taped together with juco's" when his own team has plenty of juco's. I'm done matching witts with a man who is obviously unarmed. Clyde if you want to stay and chat thats fine but atleast ask decent questions. Here I'll start..........What do you think the expectations of Chezik are over the next few years? Are you guys looking for something Dan McCarneyesk or do you want more? Give me expected wins and losses over the next few years.
  14. Are you even an ISU fan? If so you don't know much of anything. Chezik brought in a ton of juco's for you guys this year. I mean jeez if your going to come in here and run smack atleast bring something to back it up. When you are trying to change a program, you have to bring in Juco's untill you are able to bring in the personell you want. For your info we only have a few jucos signed for this year. If you are going to crack on us for using juco's you might as well crack on yourself. ISU will have to use tons of Juco's over the next few years untill Chezik gets his guys. "Better to be thought and idiot, than open your mouth and remove all doubt"
  15. I will agree he is not a seasoned Big 12 QB, but he is a seasoned Pac-10 QB that has now moved into a system that fits his skill set in the Big 12. Maybe I totally misunderstood his post. If by seasoned big 12 qb, he means one that scrambles for his life and spends most of the game on his back.....then the answer is NO, Sam Keller is not a seasoned big 12 qb like Bret Myer. You are totally right Cyclown Clyde, you are right.
  16. I will agree he is not a seasoned Big 12 QB, but he is a seasoned Pac-10 QB that has now moved into a system that fits his skill set in the Big 12.
  17. Shouldn't you be more concerned with what color helmet you decide to pick this year? Oh and that "gold out" thing you did against us? Niice. You mean the gold out that looked more like Ketchup and Mustard because they needed 26,000 of our fans to fill out there stadium.
  18. Why would any coach take a job because of a player with one year of eligibility left? You guys are dreaming. Chezik took the job because it was an opportunity for his first head coach job. If he does something no one has ever done at ISU.....have success, you might as well say good bye. Because he will be marching straight to the NFL.
  19. Proven dominant?..........I guess over there in ames a .500 record is considered dominant. As far as All-Big 12, I would say Colt McCoy, Chase Daniel and Sam Keller might have something to say about that. Bret Myer might want to worry more about beating UNI than finishing All-Big 12. When you have more "L's" than "W's" its awfully hard to win anything. Just ask Troy Davis. Now why don't you go back to you're board and talk about making another teams fan base pay for upgrades that your fanbase can't afford.
  20. He could be a sham and still be better than that so called QB you guys have.
  21. I'm going to say his over under for sacks will be 3 1/2, and I'm going with the over.
  22. I think we should run a 5-2 with all out blitz every time, maybe even a goal line set. But definitely all out blitz every time. That way our corners can never get caught on an island.
  23. Get dish and get the college football package.
