    Rewatching the 2014 miami game with my girlfriend as part of her introduction to Nebraska football (she's from Alabama).

     

    She's so into it and intimidated by the crowd and I'm almost crying thinking of how much I miss football, miss big primetime moments and love this program.

    What is your basic sports skill fail?

     

    Mine is, despite watching football for forever, I cannot throw a spiral. Just utterly fail whenever I try.

      I suck at throwing. I alligator arm everything and idk why. Throw footballs/baseballs like Sam Keller, throw frisbees weird too. Have never been able to figure it out.

    Clemson is 67-4 over the last five years (potential to be 69-4). As impressive as 93-97 Nebraska? If they win the natty this year, they would've been one Syracuse loss away from 70-3. Wow.

      He's recruited at a clip similar to Osborne. That is, not as elite as you might think especially compared to Bama and others:

      @C N Red fair point, but they're also having to play in conference championship games and extra playoff games against top competition.

    I finally had a chance to watch the whole game. The hot takes on Frost's play calling are hot s#!t. There are a few plays here and there that he'd want back, but it was pretty solid. 

     

    The swings were needed and helped open up the inside runs that popped. Just like all the sweeps we ran.

    Phew. Feel great for that kid, what a cool moment for him. Gotta say though, as a fan that level of celebration after this one just seems stupid and embarrassing. Just an ugly disappointing game for a team who still hasn't looked good through the majority of the season. BUT, wins are wins and that feels nice. And they're playing Let Me Clear My Throat! Enjoy it if you can.

    Does anyone else have a hunch that Moos might have pulled in a huge favor or connection to manipulate gameday and primetime to be here? How long has he had this planned?

      @Minnesota_husker we had people on here telling us the time and day that the announcement would come, and it was before any announcement of Gameday.

    Did anybody else see the INT at the end of regulation as OBVIOUS pass interference?

      No it wasn't. Bootle's should have been automatically flagged as he never turned to look for the ball. The CU DB was looking for the ball and in position to make the play, he just also happened to be holding onto our guy (who was also holding on to him).

      It was absolutely pass interference, but by that argument so was ours in OT that wasn't called. They were consistent in letting that amount of contact go.

    hyper replay analyzation is ruining certain elements of sports and their outcomes

      Putting a :30s time limit on replays and deciding in the rules (not in on the fly judgment of a person) what types of plays are automatically reviewed is the way to go imo.

       

      @Enhance, no I don't think that's the wrong call. I think calling it off TT because that player's pinky was touching the ball for .001s longer than the UV player's even though the UV player was the cause of the ball gong out of bounds is a mistake. That's how high school refs are taught to officiate those sorts of specific calls - "who forced it out" rather than "who was the last person to touch it".

      That's about right. Working 9 hour office days and working freelance stuff every waking moment outside of that including the weekends.
