  1. Man you guys are weird... I'm coming back as a super awesome hot athlete that Jordan Larson will swoon over. Have fun with your next lives as inanimate objects guys!
  2. Because every single one of ESPN's list-related features (recruiting, ESPN-specific awards, etc.) are all garbage, really.
  3. How do I not drench my face? I'm confused....do I like, get a straw? *scratches head*
  4. If reverses count, then there was also a reverse against Texas if I remember correctly. Also, I really don't think we've lost our edge, because it seems to me as if most of these plays get thought up from week to week in practice, and if the other team has never seen the play before (especially in our case), there is no way they can defend it unless they get lucky. The perfect example of this was the Ganz lining up at kicker play, I mean how can a defensive coordinator hope to blindly prepare for such trickery?
  5. Don't forget the kick return handoff-reverse that busted against Oklahoma.
  6. I couldn't wait, so I made a prototype image!
  7. Way to welcome the guy N guys! Glad you're coming Tyson!
  8. The staff will probably be willing to keep the offer out there for Demmons, (4 star) just for the sake of getting Gray, that's just my 2 cents though. BTW I have a very good feeling about Gray. alot of people are saying we'll likely turn away demmons away if we get another lb commit but you have to remember that sean fisher could bulk up and be a d end , he is 6 foot 5 so that could give us another spot You also have to remember that Demmons IS a 4-star backer, and is probably a better 'get' than some of our other recruits. No reason to back off him, at least not in my mind.
  9. Breakaway speed is not relevant when talking about Todd Peterson, because he is a possession receiver, and a damn fine one at that. Ever since '05 I have always thought that he was our most underrated offensive weapon, and I still hold to that sentiment.
  10. Zoogies, you also have to take into account that, since we WERE Nebraska, and we DID average 400 yards rushing a game, defenses would often bring 8 or more people into the box to try and stop the run, and a HUGE percentage of our pass plays were to wide open receivers, because the run opened up the pass. When you think about this, Frazier's completion percentage, if he was a great throwing quarterback, should have at least been 50% on the career...
  11. I know nobody here has really seen any work of mine, and I've never done all that much husker-related stuff, but I would really like to try a shot at it.
  12. Westgatehusker, I disagree that knowledge of the offense means more than talent. If anything they are equal. Think of it like this: Two people go into a room to take a calculus test. One of the people had a study sheet that he used for several weeks, and although he wasn't a very good mathmetician, he had developed a pretty good feel for the test, because he knew what to expect. The other guy only had 5 days to use his study sheet, enough time to become familiar with what was asked of him. This guy, however, was a brilliant scholar and excellent at math. Who do you think would turn out better? Also, knowledge of an offense is something that can be picked up; talent? not so much. Sure, the WCO is intricate and unbelievably detailed, but it is still easier for an athlete to learn something new than it is for them to go against nature and magically become more talented.
  13. Hey look it's Josh Hartnett! I think it's pretty obvious that the reason we haven't offered Moore yet is because our fullbacks don't run the ball 8)
  14. Are you ok man? Also, I can't figure out what you're actually talking about..
  15. There was a teaser article on the packer's scout page that said something about "The Packers are looking to their young talent on offense.." and then said something about how jackson will be expected to contribute immediately, so that is probably a good sign! I don't have a subscription though so couldn't read the whole thing
  16. "Instead of taking part in Packers minicamp on May 17th, rookie running back Brandon Jackson was forced to attend a photo shoot in Las Angeles. At the time, fans seemed a little annoyed with this and rightfully so. It was quite unfair that the NFLPA forced him to miss camp, but instead partying it up on the L.A. trip, Jackson displayed a great example of maturity and motivation by constantly studying the Packers playbook. "I was real frustrated," Jackson recounted Thursday. "But, knowing what you got to do, I really didn't care after that. I had to go, so I went, did that. That's done and over with. I'm back out here, I'm happy and I'm just ready to go." This is certainly a pleasant change-of-pace. It's a rarity these days to find a rookie, or any player for that matter, as devoted to improvement as Jackson is. When others are out punching strippers, attending dog fights, being arrested for assault and eating beef sticks in jail, Jackson is going out of his way to make himself a better player. Green Bay may have found a gem here. Fans and fantasy football players should take notice." go get em b-jax
  17. Tarheel, perfectly legitimate argument, but I don't think he was comparing the Pac-10 to the Big XII, but rather comparing it to it's hype. The Big 12 hasn't been hyped as an elite conference for some time now, and the Pac-10 seems to always be popular, but the teams always disappoint, according to how people think they will do.
  18. Too bad Time Warner decided to take ESPN Classic out of our basic cable package, and replace it with freaking Noggin. DIE TIME WARNER
  19. Great, we all remember what happened the last time someone guaranteed us to upset USC
  20. I would pick Texas, here's why: Missouri would be pretty nice as well, but it's just about guaranteed that Texas will be ranked MUCH higher than Missouri. If we win that game, we will shoot up the rankings. Also, since it was such a heartbreaker last year, I want revenge!!
  21. To me he is a better corner than grixby or jones, but I have always thought he was overrated by the Husker Nation
  22. If we're gonna get any jcuo reciever it should be Carl Moore
  23. Or maybe it's not a real story and he was just saying that to jokingly make the guy even more relieved?
  24. Oh jeez, um ok i will give it a shot! '95 huskers (duh) '71 huskers (duh) '83 huskers (kinda duh) '94 huskers '93 huskers '70 huskers (i know nothing about this team other than they won an NC) '97 huskers 1890 Huskers (hey! they went undefeated, 2-0!) '99 huskers '01 huskers? i really don't know who to put as my last one
