Lets say Nebraska beats KSU and CU, and Missouri falls and Nebraska wins the big XII North and heads to the Big XII Championship and upsets #2 ranked Texas Tech. Nebraska goes 9-4 and is Big XII Champions. Where do we go then? I know that's a big if, but I like to wonder. I'd be happy with 8-4 and a trip to the Alamo Bowl. Bo already has the team back on track because we're bowl eligible. Lets keep it going and really increase our chances of a big bowl game.

In all honesty, I didn't get to see a lot of the game but catching highlights online, we played one heck of a game and stepped it up when we needed to. Nebraska HAS to control their destiny and bite, tear, scratch their way to 8-4. We play KSU at KSU and then we get the Buffaloes in Lincoln. I hope the Cornhusker fans take pride in staying loud all the way through, I know that was what kept the players going through the cold, bumps and bruises. GO BIG RED!

Looks like another Saturday afternoon where the bar and grills around town are gonna be packed again. I hope we take out some frustration on KU.

OU does have a family feel. Coach Bo Pelini is heading back to Norman to ask he OU Coaches, "How do you like me now?" I do like the way Bob Stoops is handling the Sooners. Maybe Stoops and Pelini can bring back the tradition of Osborne and Switzer and their image of chatting at midfield before the great rivalry games of the past. We need to do some rescheduling and put Nebraska vs Oklahoma back to the day after Thanksgiving.

When Barry Switzer was reached for comment regarding Oklahoma's comment about Texas being their biggest rival he replied: THEY DID WHAT???

I think the Big XII officials have it out for Nebraska. I couldn't believe the bad officiating through the whole game. The punt that was supposedly first touched by the Nebraska player was one of many blown calls in the game. What really got me upset was how Baylor would have 12 to 13 players on the field until just before the ball would be snapped so Nebraska couldn't be sure how to line up on defense. Nebraska has 12 people on the field once and gets a illegal substitution call. I hope someone in the Big XII reviews this crap and puts an end to this.

In all honesty, this team might be 3-3 but they have refused to give up. Sure they lost big to Missouri, but the other 2 were close and could have gone either way. The 2007 team had a look in their eyes like "This is too tough, we give up.." The 2008 team has a look in their eyes when things get tough that they have to get better. I have a feeling that against ISU, Nebraska is going to take a turn in the right direction. The 2008 season has been exciting to say the least, and after the game against Texas Tech, I have a lot of faith in the Cornhuskers that they'll win a lot more than they'll lose in the rest of the season. I'm glad I get Versus on Cox Digital. I'll be off this Saturday, so I'll be able to watch the ISU vs Nebraska game.

We do play Colorado at home, and I think that the Cornhusker Fans in Memorial Stadium are first class but they might make it a hostile environment for the Buffs on game day.

There were times in the game I was jumping up and down yelling, "YES!!!" and "Go Big Red!". I did get "the feeling" again. I got goosebumps. Nebraska is on the verge. We played a top program and hung around with them, almost pulled off the upset. Can't wait till Saturday. I actually have this Saturday off too, so I'm gonna be able to watch the game on cable at 11.

I think Texas and Texas Tech are now the 2 undefeated teams in the Big XII. Are you guys rooting for Texas, ot Texas Tech to go all the way? Personally I'd root for either one. Oklahoma still has a shot too because they might still be high in the polls. Also, I'm glad to see so many Big XII teams in the top 25 this year.

God was busy trying to work out the outcome of the Notre Dame game. Maybe God saw how we were doing and flipped over to ABC when Nebraska was in overtime.

I wonder how many people won money because Nebraska beat the spread. Then again, I wonder how many people lost a bunch of money.

8-4 is doable. We get a decent Bowl Game and work towards next year. I hope nobody is hanging their heads after today's game. Nebraska needs to be proud and work ahead thinking positive. Rather than thinking 3-3, lets get back on track to a winning streak again.
