Hey Guys, thanks for reaching out! I'm doing well, I've just absolutely swamped between work, and coaching multiple kids sports teams since January. I also noticed that the preview sources I used to use have been fairly dry, so I haven't really had as much to work with. That being said, I'll gear up to get that stuff posted in the next couple weeks. Once I start getting preview mags, I'll really dive in. Looking forward to the season! #GBR

I've done a bunch of briskets, and I normally don't wrap them at all (but definitely do it if you're in a crunch). I use a pellet smoker, and I usually go 230-250 on the smoker temp, and monitor the meat with probes. I usually start it the night before (usually around 8-10 PM) for lunch the next day. The temps are usually at the 202-204 mark, but to be honest, the real key to knowing when it's done is the jiggle. When you poke it, it should wobble. The key is injecting with broth, and seasoning with just salt and pepper. And don't be afraid to inject it again 2/3 through the cook.

Got power back yesterday morning, and was able to watch last nights win!

Yeah, it's sad to see. SBNation was a daily visit from me for a long time. But once Bill Connelly left, it went downhill. Their "relaunch" as the Banner Society was a huge dud for me, because it was basically a website version of Shutdown Fullcast, which is just awful.

When we moved into our new house last summer, we were the only ones on our street, and we struggled to get internet installed. We resorted to a hotspot in the meantime, and it bit the dust earlier this year, so it's been a pain to get online. Couple that with being stuck at home most of the last 30 days, and it's been rough. We got CenturyLink Fiber installed (finally), so I'll be around more now.

I'm a huge fan. No ads, the app is great, and they'll email you stories that are posted about the teams you choose to follow.

Polar Vortex. 90+ degrees 7-8 months of the year gets exhausting.

Hmm, I swear I saw ads when I did the trial last year, and I was shocked. Maybe they fixed it. Still, the price is quite high for what it is.

@Enhance I think the difference is that they're charging for content, and still showing a boatload of ads. Compare that to something like The Athletic, which really capitalized on the move to premium content. They cover way more teams and sports, and have zero ads.

Congrats @killer cacti. I'm sure most of us here were pulling for you guys. I've had a bit of a soft spot for Clemson after my wife and I went to the 2008 Gator Bowl for her first Husker game.

@knapplc I was not going to watch it, but I had it on my iPad while I was playing games. Once the beatdown started, I stopped playing and watched until like 12:00 to go when it was clear it was over.

Nope. I work with a bunch of them. They were bitching from day 1.
