@jaws - pretty sure we'd already know if Meyers had reported it. In fact I'd wager this either wouldn't be a story at all if he had, or it would be ended already.

@Moiraine maybe so but Title IX stuff can be very complicated. Sometimes it isn't as cut and dry as people are making it out to be. It might be black and white in this case, I don't know. 

The AD is going to go with this and the wrestling investigation.

@Enhance The draw would be the access to the plethora of talent that The Athletic has put together over the last couple of years. Sherman would be the main draw, but you'd also have access to Mandel, Feldman and Auerbach for CFB, among others for other sports.

If Bo had taken only 20 that year, his class would probably be down near 40-45. If Riley needed to get 29 kids, his ranking would probably be pushed into the top 20, just based on what he's done so far. But that's largely conjecture

You can also make the "Riley is able to pick and choose" argument, but really I don't think you can make that argument with a straight face...any coach thrust into a new job is going to be scrambling for whatever he can get. Riley has had to spend significant time just holding onto a few existing commits

It would be troubling if we didn't recruit him at all, IMO. We recruited him, he picked someone else. That someone else being Iowa. I'm gonna say its the kids loss, not ours. Can't make him come here if he don't want to.

As a DE this guy was a 2-3 year project. Were talkin 50-60 poinds to be legit in this league. And if you have a good qb, TEs and WRs are dime a dozen anyway. Color me not that worried about. At tge end of the day a guy picked a place he felt better about against all common sense and pressure. I say good for him.

I've been treated for the same thing in my late 20s/early 30s--Doc told me unless it gets severe, that I pretty much have to ride it out. Kinda messes with your mind/makes you think you're having a heart attack.

On a serious note ive had heart issues over the past few years.  Had a couple stints that wound me up in the er over me worrying about it.  Ill never forget the last time ISU played Nebraska, i was so worked up i felt my heart beating outside my chest.  I was bright red and had to sit down and just tune everything out.  After that, i never get that worked up over a game anymore.

How is it a disability? An addiction, sickness okay. In the end its a choice. Isnt a disability more about something that happened to you that was out of your basic control?

In the AA world and obviously ADA agrees, it's considered a "disease."

Alcoholism/drug addiction is a disease and a recognized disability. It's NOT, though, when you're actively abusing. So, a recovering drug addict has a bona fide disability. A user does not.

I've never understood all the hate directed at Rutgers and Maryland. Why were they any worse additions to the B1G than any others?

My beef with them is adding two MORE schools that use red as their uniform color. I think 50% of B1G teams are red now, but my stats are unsourced and cannot be confirmed.

I watched it.  You forget about the French being involved over there way before the US sent over troops.  It seemed the war changed from 1965-1970 to 1970-1975.   Liked how he discussed the war at home as well.  The closing song was spot on for each episode in my opinion.
