It can't happen. You have to win your conference to qualify for the BCS National Championship Game. Also the Championship Game in '07 #1 Ohio St vs #2 Florida was a bigger a$$ kicking then '03 Miami - Nebraska NCG. Wrong I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe there is a rule about a non AQ conference school. They must win their conference in order to qualify for a BCS game. Not positive but I think that might be where the confusion is comming from.
