TO is an amazing man, but he isn't god. We're not going to suddenly play like the 95' or 97' Husker's just because he's AD. Nothing has changed for this season, we will still lose the rest of our games.

all you need is Osbourne to make some good decisions and we'll have boosters throwing money into the program like you wouldn't believe...

Don't expect things to change this year...but the years to come should look amazing.

Taylor did Callahan's part of motivating the players last year...no one this year to step up? Just a speculation

TO won't be AD...that I know. We'd all love it, it's not going to happen. As for firing Solich, it's been said that he had other issues besides his bad coaching. Also, many call for a new head coach not only because our program has been reduced to sh#t, but also because it's not even in our tradition. The FANS want the West Cost Offense GONE...but that's just in the hope of the fans...doesn't mean we always get what we want. Callahan could stay...Offensive Coordinator would probably suit him better than Head Coach tho. He knows football...he doesn't know how to COACH tho. He doesn't make adjustments, he doesn't motivate the players very well, and he doesn't seem to have the ability to beat a top 20 team. Also, we know we arn't going to win every Natn'l Championship, or have 11+ wins every season, but we don't expect to ever have 30+ unanswered points scored against us, lose consecutive blow-out games...be humiliated...it's not husker football.

Fire head-coach in the middle of the season...that's f'ing mad. Face it, Bill Callahan is better than no coach at all. Who will step up when Callahan's gone? We need to just claim this season as a rebuilding year, and hope for the best next season.

I think we all know he reduced us to less then mediocrity...we went from a great program...to mediocrity...to our current place as a damn joke. I hope things get turn around with the new decisions we have made. I don't see it happening this season...but things could be looking up next fall.

I love how everyone keeps suggesting to offer the new AD job to TO...I have a lot of respect for TO and I know that he would never take an interim AD job for UNL. 1. He went out on top, why would he come back to such a mess? 2. He doesn't wanna make the decision to fire BC. 3. He is an old man now, coming back to UNL doesn't seem likely to be in his future. I'm sure there are a few out there who agree with me and have more, better points that I haven't thought of.
