  1. I know this is a nutty theory.. but... I wonder if.. Bo said to Watson.. you can do it your way.. until.. the Iowa St meltdown... Now.. it is going to be done Bo's way.. With Cody = win @ VT, win the game with ISU..
  2. well the fact that NO ONE is coming out saying it is NOT true. makes me believe it is true and the team / coaches / school are preparing a statement... now.. side note.. living here in Oregon.. was cool to see USC get blasted here last night!!
  3. Here is a take on the Shotgun.. I heard last week.. I live in Oregon now.. so I hear a bunch of Big 12 garbage out here every week.. but this one.. they are right about out here.. when Nebraska, Texas and OU forgot how to run the ball / run block.. it was the doom for them.. look at last weekends games.. Nebraska - 70 yards Texas-142 OU- negative 16 Teams no longer FEAR the run.. no fullbacks to run the trap... force.. Lee / Green to pass.. force McCoy and Jones to pass.. and you beat them Our win over Missouri.. not a big deal..they looked like poo against Okie State.. thank goodness we don't play them this year.. I am no coach.. and do not pretend to be one.. But I have watched a gillion Big 8 / 12 games.. and now Pac10 games.. you can get by with a Zac Lee.. if you have a run threat.. at IB / FB Expect the rest of the season to be the same.. Missouri and TT gave everyone else the Blueprint on how to beat the Huskers.. 1 other point.. Refs.. I watched Bob Stoops @ oklahoma.. now I see his brother @ Arizona and Bo @ Nebraska.. and the same result.. refs treat the teams the same way those coached treat the refs.. it is no coincidence that those 3 teams have horrific "luck" with the penalties.. both against them and the "no calls" for the other teams... no holding penalties called?? with Suh, Crick, Turner? rushing?
  4. I am watching at my house.. any HuskerBoard Nation Member is a friend of mine and welcome to come over to watch it. enjoy some burgers.. KILLER Queso dip and maybe a beverage or 2.. 1839 NW Whitecliff Drive Albany, OR 97321 java script:emoticon('', 'smid_46')
  5. your thoughts? Is Suh another Richie Incognito?
  6. What about the no-call facemask in the KSU game- 1998? Crouch gets nearly be-headed, remember the picture? the no -call ended that game basically.. that was a bad Solich year too.. Lucky wins against Okie State etc.. We should have known what lied ahead.. What is it about Okie State.. Remember Craig Bohl's last year? N was in Stillwater, lost to the Cowboys... it was an ugly game, the last game I attended prior to leaving for Kuwait and then to invade Iraq. Jamaal Lord.. poor guy.. I heard from a very reliable source.. whatever that is.. he could no remember the play once he got into the huddle, so many times the coaches were surprised at the plays that were being run.. The Cally years were ugly, yes.. but jeez some of those Solich era loses were ugly too...
  7. Remember what TO said in the presser.. Teams use to hate to play us, because they would feel it for 2-3 weeks after- We need to get that back, that was our identity-
  8. It's big twelve related jerk Your warning level has been increased for violating the Board's rule against personal attacks on members. A second violation will result in a temporary ban. 9. Osborne repeats no decision made on Callahan Associated Press Updated: November 15, 2007, 4:36 PM ET LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska interim athletic director Tom Osborne wants to quash speculation that he's already made a final decision on coach Bill Callahan. Osborne said Thursday he has not. He plans to meet with Callahan and the rest of the coaching staff Nov. 24, the day after Nebraska plays at Colorado. "We want to make sure we've had adequate input from everybody," he said. "We've got seven or eight days before the Colorado game. That's why it would be foolish to make a decision before all the data is in." Callahan signed a new five-year contract in September, but that was before the firing of athletic director Steve Pederson and the arrival of Osborne. Callahan's job status has come into question as Nebraska has struggled after reaching the Big 12 championship game last year. The Cornhuskers, whose defense is one of the worst in the country, ended a five-game losing streak last week with a 73-31 victory over Kansas State. Nebraska (5-6) must beat Colorado to become bowl-eligible. When Osborne replaced Pederson last month, he said he would wait until after the season to evaluate Callahan. "There never was any confusion between me and the coaching staff on when the end of the season was," Osborne said. "I don't say one thing and do another."
  10. I wonder how things would be now if Lucky would have been hurt on that 4th and 2 or if Joe gets hurt on that 4th and 20.. BC would look like a total fool, even more so than after the OSU game...
  11. That's it. They wouldn't even bothering to put out a release for clarification if the axe wasn't falling after Colorado. I think this also says- there is a coach in the wings and they want to shore up the recruiting class ASAP...
  12. I also think it is funny how TO is referred to as "Coach Osborne" not AD Osborne..
  13. Bottom Line.. He will be fired after the CU game.. IMO.. If TO had any thoughts of keeping BC, he would be rallying around BC and saying --hey fans this is our coach.. Bill is the coach and everyone should support him.. All that keeps being said is, we will evaluate.. etc..
