That's what I was thinking. Kansas could use the money, plus they have a center that hikes the ball over the QBs head ever higher than yours does and with alarming frequency. Nothing like drubbing Kansas to improve morale

Game is going to be cancelled anyway. Apparently the biggest snowstorm mankind has ever seen is going to wallop the east coast on Thursday,...ending life as we know it. of course, in the Midwest we would call that a "dusting" of snow.

Raw talent...yes. Developed talent...no. That falls on the coaching staff. Iowa State starts one senior on offense. They have an OL that features two red shirt freshmen. Would you pick the Iowa State offense over the Nebraska offense? They started slow, what with lack of practices, but over the season, they have corrected mistakes and are now playing at their peak. Nebraska, at least on the offense, is still committing the same dumb mistakes they made at the start of the season. That's all on coaching. Player development is sorely lacking. you have the talent but lack the leadership.

Needs to be a Coach transfer portal...

My point being that a coach who comes in riding the accolades that Scott Frost came in with should have it "figured out" already. Basic coaching functions like clock management, player evaluations and personnel decisions are not something it should take a coach of the year winner three years to "figure out".

Why does everybody hope Frost "figures it out"? He was supposed to have it figured out already. He was the hot commodity when he was hired. College football's wunderkind football genius. That's why he got the big bucks when he came to Nebraska...because he had turning a faltering football program around "figured out". If he he hasn't figured it out by now, chances are he's not going to figure it out in five years either.

Iowa State only has one loss. The game against Louisiana didn't count. The Big 12 had a meeting and changed the rules. The first week was for scrimmages only. Any results from these games will be expunged from the record. Big 10 isn't the only conference that can change the rules to get their favored son into the playoffs...

No big deal...just a plot to keep Iowa State out of the playoffs. I'm sure we'll get another apology letter for our wall.

What I learned today... Travis Justice is as bad a commentator on TV as he is on radio Breece Hall is Roger Craig's cousin.

You have to take into account that 70% of those rushing yards are by the QBs on designed runs and scrambles. Concurrently rushing yards would go down as passing yards go up...or don't go up depending on the completion rate.

I learned a couple of things today...but I won't say what they are because last time I did, I was invited to go f#&% myself...

Would be curious to know what these kids get promised when they are recruited and if those expectations are being met
