Honestly recruiting is so overrated now a days. Joe ganz was a 2 star walk on, and look what he has done. Harrison beck was a 4 star stud and look what he has done. Stars who have underachieved at Nebraska or left (recently) Leon Washington Chris Brooks Rodney Picou David Horne Courtney Grixby Justin Tomerlin ANDRE JONES WAS A 5 STAR.... Marlon Lucky, good, but Roy helu is proven to be more productive. A better back and he is a 3 star. Brandon Jackson, was a 3 star and he was pretty darn good. Zac Taylor, big 12 offensive MVP. Jay Moore, Cariker Recruiting is hype is overrated. It all matters on a players desire and work ethic in college. Getting used to the game, and understanding how to play it based on ones skill set. I am so proud of him. He has a shot at the MAC title and Buffalo is 6-4 going bowling. Lets all show turner some love, and recognize that soon he will be coaching one of the big boys. This guy is a class act that we can all aspire to be like! Congrats Turner!

Is it just me or does anyone else think Nebraska should hire Tyrone for a position on the football staff next year. The guy would be a solid recruiter and would bring a wealth of knowledge to the program. Despite being a failure as a head coach maybe he could be a solid assistant?

For someone that looked like he would be a first round draft pick because of his physical attributes, he is THE MAIN reason our defense gives up so many big plays. I remember callahan saying he was going to be one of the great safties in the country. But the closest he has ever been to a pick was the Nevada game in 2007. And he dropped it. He doesnt seem to understand zone coverage, and although he gets a ton of tackles that stat is baloney because he gets them BECAUSE HE CANNOT COVER ANYONE. He proves why recruiting hype is overrated, and why people like Chris Brooks will never cut it. Remember Chris Brooks? he has never started a game. And he has 2 career catches.....And he was the best player in Missouri in 2005? Are u kidding me? And look at players like Helu, a 3 star. That is our best player. HE IS THE MOST TALENTED RUNNING BACK TO COME TO NEBRASKA SINCE 2000.

1. People are underestimating KSU 2. I think players think they actually accomplished something by beating Kansas 3. Marlon Lucky will get more carries than Roy Helu 4. Josh Freeman is due to beat nebraska 5. Ron Prince will go for it on 4th down every time 6. I just have a feeling that people r assuming 8-4 too early. This season is not over, and nebraska seems to always lose to an inferior opponent every year. I WANT NEBRASKA TO WIN. But i have a horrible feeling about this weekend. I have a feeling freeman is going to go off and we will lose a high scoring affair. The loss of Cody Glenn does not help.

I can't think of a single good reason the Gator bowl would rather have OKST than ND. I think you need to take the Gator out of there. Also, you have them ranked wrong. The Alamo should be at the bottom of that list. So it would be...
