I'll be the one to say it....wonder if this is a calculated move by the coaches to allow Dale and Sunderland (sp?) to check us out and commit if they want too first. I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but something seems odd here. He has been set to come for some time but now has a different commitment that he supposedly can't get out of. And he can't come the following weekend because of a baseball commitment (which is probably legit). But it does seem odd that he's been on the list for some time and all of the sudden he has a conflict. Not that it couldn't be right, just odd. But I'm not sure the coaches would handle it that way either so I don't know what to make of it. You're probably right, just been thinking quite a bit on which how we are going to turn down a few good players. On a side note....how does the whole baseball/football scholarship thing work? Could two way players accept a baseball scholarship instead of a football one and it not count against us? He would be counted as a football player.

If he doesn't leave early for the NFL... just sayin

So, if we get him to commit, is the staff done recruiting OTs due to the small recruiting class this year? Or do we still go after another OT like Grant Schmidt? One thing I'm not happy about is the recruitment of Grant Schmidt. Give the kid an offer. Stat. I totally agree

How is he not bumped to 5 star status, then? I don't know when it is complete but this shows he is #16. Also NO Guards are a 5 star http://247sports.com...ool&Position=OG StPaulHusker, they were discussing over the new Rivals rankings, not the 247 ones. Just thought that'd save some confusion. Oops. My bad. Either way, No OG's are 5 star and only 3 OT's. Plus Rivals shows Farmer as #9 They had not truly finalized the rankings. Ended up the #4 guard in the final Rivals rankings because they moved Braden Smith (from KS) over from tackle to guard.

We are going to lose three Defensive Ends this year (Ankrah, Ashburn, and Vestal), so they might want to take 3 this class. We already have three in this class (Keels, Slade, Stoltenberg). Keels decided on Nebraska because the coaches are letting him play DE not pushing him inside. Maybe Stoltenberg moves to the offensive line????
