Agreed. We may not know the whole story, but tweeting about a hangover is far from a big time offense. An 18 year old publicly stating that he has been drinking shows an incredible lack of intelligence and judgement. I wouldn't trust this kid when he moves out on his own with less supervision. I would rather give a scholarship to a less talented kid that you could at least count on. Would you give the kid a shot if he were to walk on? If he really wants to play for Nebraska (and I know a scholarship is more about respect than money to some athletes) he could walk on. He would have instate tuition and his father can afford to pay. I'm just thinking out loud, but that is one way to earn a spot on the team. We have plenty of walk ons that are starting for Nebraska right now.

Will take an official visit to UCLA when it hosts Nebraska on Sept. 8, Arkansas on Sept. 15 when Alabama visits, Cal on Oct. 6 for the UCLA game. He is also planning OV to Oklahoma and to Nebraska. No longer visiting Ok. State. Looks like he will get to watch Nebraska play twice.

States he may commit earlier than planned and not take official visits. Oregon seems to be the leader and Cal is also in the mix. They are the two schools that he has visited the most.

He was part of a huge wave of commits that happened during Washington's Big Red Weeked-type deal. My guess is he got caught-up in the visit high and the other guys jumping to commit then got home, calmed-down,and started rethinking things. It's fine to go for the close on visits but it's still a double-edged sword. You increase the commits but also increase the number of guys with second thoughts. He and Elijah Qualls have stated that they were the ones that organized the big group commitment.
