  1. IMO he will be a greyshirt and will be an OLineman. I don't see him being a Dlineman at all.
  2. Not sure about McShay, but am positive Kiper watches film of the games and with 2 very highly rated DT's playing in the same game I'm sure both of them will watch the film and be able to see who had the better game and which one helps his lineman out more. Crick is fricking awesome and is only going to get better, but with Suh beside him it makes him that much better because of how much attention other O-lines have to pay to Suh. He was doubled almost all night. The one personal foul against the Sooner O-lineman when he pushed Suh way after the whistle him and another O-lineman were both still blocking him.
  3. I think it might. It's a numbers game. Racking up DLs and running out of scholarships. You make room for OO!!! If you have to ask a lower recruit to grayshirt then that's what you have to do.
  4. heard that he LOVED vist and gave it a 10.... says we are his top choice......... stoked looks like Beck is starting to work those texas connections for next year too.... I saw him out on the field talking to Beck during warmups before the game. They were talking and laughing. Looked like he was already having a good time so the game and win couldn't have hurt either.
  5. Last I checked Goldshlager is not a beer, and 43.5 for Goldschlager is no surprise for those of us who drink it.
  6. You need to forward this to Watson's email immediately!!!!!!
  7. I don't mean to piss you off but aren't you doing the same thing there? Pointing out why something is incorrect does not equal boasting. It's like some of you people go out of your way to find ridiculous rumors to post, then throw a temper tantrum when someone debunks it. I really, really, really wish we would reopen Rumorville so all these crackpot rumors and the people who live to read them could have a place for their nonsense. Everyone could sit around the circle, raise their right arms, and pat the next guy for being such a great source. Everyone would take a turn announcing who they know who's related to Bo or Ekeler or whomever, so everyone would be established and bona fide, and every word could be accepted as pure gospel. It'd be paradise for you people. Are they really rumors when they become facts?? I think he was just trying to give some inside info and tried to hard to make sure everyone knew he wasn't a troll. If he would have just gave the 5 things he had info on and not replied to everyone who were trying to debunk them, when they came true it would have been better and his insight would be taken better. I for one like to hear things like who will be playing and starting in the upcoming game whether or not they become true. Why? Because if the insights given by the poster continually come true, I want to hear what he has to say because he probably does have inside info and the things he posts are more than likely gonna become fact eventually, and if not then you can call him out on it and discuss why some predictions didn't come true. Double post

  9. Wasn't Baker sick for quite awhile and lost a bunch of weight? I thought I remember seeing this being talked about before and I think Bo might have mentioned it too. I don't think he was able to train and learn early secondary to the sickness and was set back a ways. He is probably just starting to catch up. Give the guy some time, this isn't high school anymore and technique is more important to beat your man, not just power. It will take awhile to learn those things especially after missing time.
  10. It is strange. Just look around you in the stands and you'll see someone eating one. It's hamburger & cabbage in a bread-like crust. It's absolutely nothing to get excited about. God only knows why they're popular here. Immigrants. My grandparents and great-grandparents, etc. on both sides of my family made/make them pretty often. We just call them cabbage burgers, but it's the same thing. They're seasoned with a lot more than just "salt." And I know some of you don't like Runzas, but the Runza Restaurants use USDA Choice beef, which is the second highest grade of beef behind Prime. Everytime I go to Runza I not only get a Cheese Runza but also a double cheeseburger. By far the best fast food burger I have ever come across and I think you will agree. Not thin little patties, but thick hand packed type burgers.
  11. I have been thinking this all year. Where are the TE drag routes over the middle and the crossing routes down field? I remember a few games in the past we did these things and the other team's D couldn't stop them. We just ran the same kind of stuff that was working and it worked all game. But I definitely think we are not using the middle of the field like we should or as much as we did in the past. We throw way too much to the boundary and defenses are too fast to do that now. Neutralize the speed with crossing routes and routes over the middle.
  12. If he is heading to Waco with "a ton" of family members makes me wonder if his Bro may get some playing time. Now I know they might just go to Waco to watch the Huskers and be able to see Andrew, but makes me wonder a little bit. Could be a huge thing in landing Aaron if he Bro gets to play and then plays the rest of the year.
  13. Cooper started already this year, so that's not exactly a big prediction. Everything else you're listing there is the same conjecture we've all been saying. I thought you started this thread off with your insider link to Coach Beck? Can you use that to get us more information than this? okay how about this? the opening set on offense will feature green and robinson in the backfield, shotgun, tray on green's right. Kinnie and Khiry will be on the right of the formation mcneil on the line at the left and paul split left. it will be a draw play to tray. ok? how about we not overuse the source? Something tells me it's going to matter what hash the ball is on, so you're gonna call a reverse of formation possible too I hope.
  14. I'm pretty sure those are considered to be cream. I cannot remember them being like that the last couple years, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
  15. I was just thinking that the best overall game we have played not only on defense(which has really been pretty damn good all year), and also on offense was the LA-Lafayette game. And what uniforms did we wear in that game? Of course you all know it was the throwback uniforms. I vote to bring back the throwback uniforms and see what happens. If we do what will the outcome be for the rest of the season?
  16. They have been like this for this entire year I know. Can't remember thinking about it last year but this year I know they have been this color. It is the color cream I guess.
  17. Look at this map. It's the Yellow colored garage labeled number 9. http://www.huskers.com//pdf5/425146.pdf?SP...p;DB_OEM_ID=100
  18. I've seen every game. Yes, Lee's % goes down and he doesn't do well throwing on the run, but most of the time he is trying to get away from pressure because the O-line didn't block well or he held the ball too long. However, moving the pocket isn't necessarily throwing on the run. It's relocating the pocket. Now saying that, when you move the pocket the QB really should have time to set his feet and throw, so it's basically like he's still in the pocket. Also, the WR routes become longer and a little slower, but it gives the WR's time to survery what the defense is doing and find open spots easier. With the line the Tackles/TEs getting beat on the outside is the perfect reason to do it. Rolling the pocket takes away that outside pass rush. The far side DE will have much further distance to go to get to QB and that backside tackle can get help from RB. The onside DE will try to come up field but the Tackle/TEs first step is out and well as Guard and Center. The D-line players get passed down on the slide and have much more traffic/blockers to deal with. JMHO, but I think it gives everyone on the offense time to really process what to do and execute.
  19. Why don't we move the pocket and do some roll outs? This takes pressure off the Line and the QB. However, I understand Lee is having enough trouble throwing the ball from a stationary position, but maybe rolling out he can get away from the rush and have time to set his feet and make some good throws. Anyone else have any ideas on this?
  20. And also an early starting game. This kid is serious about NU. I read somewhere that one reason he is visiting during the season is because he has been hurt and not playing so he decided to take some visits while he is healing and not able to play.
  21. This reminds me of a thread I started awhile back. I had mentioned to use kind of a fake, or real if possible, sound meter that goes up and down compared to how loud the crowd is being. And now with the ribbon boards it should be easier than ever to use that play. It just seems so simple. With a visual of how loud the fans are being it makes it so easy to have the people be louder. When our fans can see a challenge they usually put forth full effort to be the best.
  22. I guess it's time to start a 2012 recruiting profile page. Rivals has an article on 2012 LB recruit Michael Rose.
  23. It really doesn't matter how many he knows, because he only really needs to know about 5 since that's about all we ran last game.
