Here's your feel-good story of the day. It'll be interesting to see if this kid's identity comes out in 10 years if/when he makes it to the NBA.  I know we see all the headlines about the things cops do wrong, but these are the kinds of stories we need to see, too. My mom worked for two PDs in her life and I got to know several officers pretty well. These stories happen way oftener than you think.

@ZRod I think about 100% of the players last year would've said they wanted to win. The big difference is now they are putting in the required work to actually win and are being put in a position where they know they can win and they have confidence in the coaches. It's a huge difference over just saying the words and going through the motions but knowing deep down that things are very wrong.

If you guys yave a chance to listen to the huskeronline videos on youtube I recommend it.  Farmer steals the show in my opinion and you can see the change in attitude.

A couple things are nice.  I like how new Tweets are loaded - similar to mobile but mobile is still a bit better.

But it's busy.  And I don't understand why it doesn't save settings from one session to the next.  Latest tweets, text size, etc. all have to be reset every time.  Annoying.

And the occasional weird jump when scrolling is really annoying.

I had an ad give me a colonoscopy.   Without anesthesia.   Or lube.  Or a camera.

Really wish the previous site owners would have given one of the posters an opportunity to buy and maintain status quo. Or set it up so the posters could rally and run it themselves. 

Interesting...I thought Knapplc was making a commentary on Miles' tenure at DoNU before I opened up the status invite and read the whole thing.

Yep, Frost drafted as a safety. There was a good story on Sharp & Benning other day about how Frost got Washington to commit to us over ASU. Basically told him he was drafted as a safety and not a qb, and that his best chance to reach the nfl would be at RB which is what we were recruiting him as.

1983 is known as the QB draft.  Six first rounders:  John Elway, Todd Blackledge, Jim Kelly, Tony Eason, Ken O'Brien and Dan Marino.  Husker Trivia:  What NU QB was drafted in 1983?  He was a starter in the NFL for a while.  LINK

This is a great move by bama as they bitch about their fans leaving early or not showing up (then later brag about their attendance.)

The neutral site games make some sense but it won't compare to the money they make for a home game (local economy).  

It is a decent name but not a huge threat an the return game in Madison will be a fun one for Bama necks...errrrr...fans.

Wisconsin should have pushed for a November night game.  Bama most certainly would have told them to pound sand though.

@darkhorse85we could hope for severe weather in Madison that postpones the game and forces 'Bama to sacrifice their November cupcake for a frosty trip north of the Mason-Dixon line.
