HH played with confidence, I saw no real second guessing his shot and I saw a lot of heart in him.  We saw what we have, will he remain the starter who knows but currently he's the top QB we have in terms of stats.  Can Satterfield get the playbook streamlined around him, who knows but the kid has confidence.

I mostly agree with this, but I still think of him as a serviceable backup type. Hopefully, he can still be improved.

He had a couple of nice runs, especially the final TD, but he also tried a few juke moves that he doesn't have the ability to make. Same with the pass game.

Had some really nice throws, especially that one on 3rd and long at the sideline, but then he had a couple of deep passes way off target; and should've been picked when the game was still in doubt on one over the middle to Fidone, where he completely missed the safety standing in the throwing lane in front of Fidone.

As a whole, he played pretty decent, better than the "starter", yet there's enough flaw to keep him busy.

Like it or not, Nebraska has a reputation for not hiring Black coaches.

Had to respond to the ridiculousness of this statement. Every FBS program has a history of not hiring black coaches.

And I can think of many black coaches at Nebraska starting with one that is currently employed by the program.

If you are happy with the selection of Satterfield just say it and defend him rather than questioning others who may disagree.

I'm fine with selection of Satterfield. No concern with his play calling and scheme. I have do have serious concerns about Sims. And no I don't have to tie my opinion of Sims to Satterfield.

    Offense:

-We will ride or die with performance of the QB for the rest of the year.

-The QB room is bare.  It’s scary.

-The rest of the O squad didn’t play great, but good enough to win.

    Defense:

    -outstanding effort

-I don’t put a lot into the second half.  I think the were tapped physically and mentally.

    General

    -I give Deion credit.  He’s a winner.

-I still believe in Rhule but it’s not going to be a year one turn around.

-it’s tough to be a Husker fan.  The performance by Sims is one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen ever.  As bad as he is, there is no one behind him.

-dramatic alert.  I can’t say how disappointed I am I have to wait ANOTHER year.

    Agree with all of this.

While true, we have to be honest and say that Satterfield is an absolute disaster. And Rhule hired him.

Why he calls long developing pass plays with a liability at QB is terrible, let alone with the left side of the OL being a dumpster fire. He should realize his QB room is limited, and needs to develop an offense around the few strengths his QBs have, which is running the ball.

But instead of developing an RPO based simple offense using the strength of his players, we're seeing one of the worst scoring offenses in the country, which is simultaneously penalty prone AND turns the ball over at an obscene rate. Rhule and Satterfield insist on this pro-style attack when anybody with eyes and a half dozen firing neurons in their brain can see is an absolute disaster.

I dont know man. The schemes Satterfield has rolled out the past two weeks haven't seemed overly complicated. It was bad enough seeing CU load 9 in the box most plays. Now you want to see an even simpler scheme forcing Sims to hand off or pull the ball back from RB's belly? Yeesh! No thank you.

What we know so far……They’ve beat two bad football teams.

    Bingo!

And if Sims doesn't s#!t himself NU wins this game (and Minnesota) and all these negative posters are signing a different tune about both Rhule and Sanders.

I wonder if CU ends 7-5 if they'll all still believe Sanders is the 2nd Coming.
